Arrival
The Sebel Whitsundays Airlie Beach rests on a scenic, steep hillside, showcasing a sleek, multi-story building designed with a blend of concrete and glass surrounded by lush tropical plants and tall palm trees. The entrance is clearly marked, leading guests up a shared driveway to an undercover car park.
From the car park, a step-free pathway guides guests through an automatic glass sliding door into the main entrance. As guests arrive, park, and check in, they experience an inviting atmosphere filled with anticipation and excitement, ready to begin their stay in this tropical setting.
Reception
Upon entering through the outward opening glass door, the reception counter with a mosaic-tiled front is positioned to the right. Directly ahead is a seating area with cane chairs. The lobby is spacious, overlooking the main pool area, offering views of the ocean, mountains, and marina.
Adjacent to the reception is a central waterfall with calming water sounds. A staircase with handrails on the right leads to the upper level, while on the left, an outward-opening glass door leads to a verandah and pool area. Large windows and glass doors fill the space with natural light, highlighting the mosaic-tiled floor and framed artwork on the walls.
Pool
The pool area features a modern design with black barrier fencing separating the reception from the pool. The main pool has an infinity edge, offering stunning views of the marina, ocean, and mountains.
There are several pool areas, including a large spa down a flight of stairs and a toddler splash pool. A separate deck with BBQ facilities is accessible via stairs with handrails.
