Wherever it is lawful and practicable, Cérge offers you the opportunity of not identifying yourself or using a pseudonym when interacting with our services. This conversation data is separate from any personal profile information you may have provided in the Cérge Companion App
We use these AI services solely to provide you with accurate, personalised accessibility information about venues
Conversations with the AI may be retained to improve the quality and accuracy of responses
The AI system is trained exclusively on publicly available accessibility information that has been collected through Cérge's assessment processes
6. Disclosure of Your Personal Information
6.1 Sharing with Venues and Service Providers

When you choose to share your accessibility profile with a venue through our platform, that venue will receive the information you've specified.

When you interact with Cérge Wayfinder, your conversation data is processed in the United States by our AI technology partner, Chatbase.
- No Other International Transfers:
Beyond the AI conversation data processed by Chatbase, Cérge does not transfer personal information to any other countries or international recipients.
9.2 Publicly Available Training Data
It's important to note that all data used to train the Cérge Wayfinder AI is publicly available information that has been collected through Cérge's venue assessment processes and subsequently published online. This information is already accessible across international boundaries.
9.3 Safeguards for International Transfers
Before transferring your Personal Information to an overseas recipient, Cérge takes steps reasonable in the circumstances to ensure that the overseas recipient:
Is subject to privacy laws offering similar protections to Australian laws
Is contractually obligated to handle your information in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable laws
Has adequate data protection measures in place
10. Notifiable Data Breaches
In the event of any loss, or unauthorised access or disclosure of your Personal Information that is likely to result in serious harm to you, Cérge will:

13. Location Services
Cérge requires access to location services within the App to provide its full range of functionality. This may be to determine if it is appropriate to send a participating business a notification of your imminent arrival or to remind you to check in after you have arrived.
Location settings are configurable to meet your preferences:
Allow only while using the App The App will only check your location while it is open and in use
Allow all the time The App will automatically check in to a venue upon arrival, even when the App is closed
Where the advanced location setting of "Allow all the time" is turned on, Cérge will only check your location for 2 hours after sending a notification.
14. Third-Party Links and Services
Our platforms may contain advertisements and links to other websites (Third-Party Materials). We are not responsible for the privacy policies or content of these Third-Party Materials. Our privacy policy only addresses the use and disclosure of information we collect from our platforms. We encourage you to inquire about and review the privacy policies of providers of Third-Party Materials before you disclose your personal information to others.
15. Definitions
App: The Cérge mobile application available on iOS and Android platforms.
Carer: An individual authorized to act on behalf of a Member in using the Cérge platform.
Cérge Companion App: The primary mobile application that allows users to create profiles, share accessibility needs, and interact with venues.
Cérge Wayfinder: An AI-powered accessibility guidance tool that provides venue-specific accessibility information through conversational interactions.
Chatbase: Cérge's AI technology partner based in the United States that provides the platform for Cérge Wayfinder.
Conversation Data: Information exchanged between a user and the Cérge Wayfinder AI, including queries, responses, and interaction context.
Member: An individual registered with Cérge who uses the platform to access information about venue accessibility.
Personal Information: Information or an opinion about an identified individual, or an individual who is reasonably identifiable, whether the information or opinion is true or not, and whether the information or opinion is recorded in a material form or not.
Sensitive Information: Information or an opinion about an individual's racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, membership of a political association, religious beliefs or affiliations, philosophical beliefs, membership of a professional or trade association, membership of a trade union, sexual orientation or practices, criminal record, health information, genetic information, biometric information, or biometric templates.
Suppliers: Third-party businesses or organizations that receive accessibility information shared by Members through the Cérge platform.
Venue: A business or location profiled in the Cérge platform for accessibility features.
