Arrival to the Swan Hill Leisure Centre
Swan Hill Leisure Centre is a low-set grey and blue building nestled amongst lush green trees. Access to the centre is via Pritchard Street, with parking available in close proximity to the entrance, including a number of accessible car parking spaces.
From the car park, there is step-free access leading to concrete steps or a concrete ramp to the entrance. Bicycle racks are also positioned in front of the entrance.
Entrance to the Swan Hill Leisure Centre
The entrance to Swan Hill Leisure Centre is via a manual, outward-opening glass door. The reception desk, featuring a wooden facade, is directly ahead. Inside, the floor is timber, complemented by brown walls and a white ceiling with recessed lighting.
A small retail area displaying swimwear and goggles is on the right and at the back of the reception. A set of movable tables and chairs and an ice cream freezer are set against the glass wall.
Café at the Swan Hill Leisure Centre
The Café at the Swan Hill Leisure Centre features a small range of drinks, ice creams, and other snacks. This area also has a seating area which includes chairs and square tables, both of which can be easily moved for accessibility. Here, people can relax while they consume their snacks and drinks from the Café while enjoying the view of the green grass outside.
Moving around the Swan Hill Leisure Centre
The Swan Hill Leisure Centre features a 25-metre, six-lane swimming pool and a toddler splash pool. The pool has ramp access as well as a mobility hoist. Aquatic wheelchairs are also available. The fitness area has a range of pin-loaded machines, free weights, and cardio equipment as well as spaces for fitness classes. There is an accessible change room which includes a shower with a hoist and a toilet with hand grabs.
