1. Arrival and Parking

Two accessible car parking spaces are located near the entrance and are marked with clear signage. Trees and fencing border the area, with pathways connecting the car park to the main entrance and surrounding facilities.

On event days, additional road bunting and designated drop-off points may be managed by staff to support visitor flow. The venue is used for equestrian events and activity levels may increase during major competitions and gatherings. Visitors may hear traffic from nearby roads, and horses may be present around the grounds, contributing to the overall sensory environment.

2. Arena Entry and Access

The arena entry and access area is part of a large stadium-style structure constructed from concrete and finished with a dominant maroon colour scheme. Bench seating is available near the entrance to the equestrian centre. Entry is at ground level through wide concrete breezeways. Moving directly ahead from the entrance leads through to the main arena. A meeting room is located to the left of the entrance, while administrative offices are positioned on the right. An elevator near the administration area provides access to level one seating. The arena includes two seating levels: ground level and level one.

Bathrooms are located at both ends of the arena. From the entrance, facilities can be accessed by moving to the left or continuing around to the right side of the building. These include male and female toilets as well as two unisex accessible toilets with handrails and baby change tables. Water fountains are also available nearby. Pathways are concrete and overhead shade structures are present in some areas. This space functions as the main entry and circulation point for spectators, and activity levels may increase during events. The maroon colour scheme is a strong visual feature throughout the area.

3. Equestrian Arena

The equestrian arena is an 80 metre by 40 metre covered sand arena with seating for approximately 3,190 people. The structure is constructed from steel and concrete and includes full lighting and audio systems to support events. Seating is arranged in steep tiers, with accessible seating available on both levels. Wide concrete pathways provide circulation around the arena, and handrails are installed along stairwells. Entry and exit points are positioned around the arena to allow movement throughout the space.

The arena floor is sand and is maintained for equestrian events. Railings form clear boundaries around the seating areas. The design of the structure allows airflow and captures breezes, helping to keep the environment comfortable. Activity levels may increase during events, and visitors may hear typical equestrian sounds. The smell of horses and manure may also be noticeable when events are taking place.

4. Outdoor Pavillion

The outdoor pavilion is located next to the main arena and adjacent to one of the toilet blocks. The structure includes a permanent marquee-style roof with a concrete floor. A ramped entry provides access to the pavilion. The surrounding ground surface is concrete, and visitors are encouraged to use the ramp where needed, as some nearby areas may have uneven surfaces.

Tables and chairs are arranged within the pavilion for seating, with shade provided by the marquee structure and additional shade sails. Nearby buildings constructed from brick and steel border the space. Pathways connect the pavilion to nearby amenities, including toilets with step-free access and handrails. Activity levels may increase during events, and visitors may hear conversations and general outdoor sounds. The smell of horses or manure may also be noticeable during equestrian activities.

5. Meeting Rooms

The meeting rooms are located at the front of the facility, to the left of the main entrance. Outside, the ground surface is concrete. Inside, the flooring transitions from timber panelling in the entry area to carpet within the meeting room. Doors are manually operated and open outward. After entering, lockers are positioned on the right. The first door on the right leads to the meeting room, while a door to the left leads to a unisex bathroom that includes a toilet with handrails and a shower.

The meeting room is used for meetings and presentations and includes tables, chairs and a projector. Activity levels may vary depending on scheduled bookings. Visitors may hear conversations and the use of presentation equipment. The space is well lit with artificial lighting.
