Arrival

Palm Beach Community Centre is a single-storey building located on 5th Avenue in Palm Beach. There is a drop-off zone in front of the building. From here, there are smooth, concrete pathways that lead to stairs with handrails. Wheelchair or pram users can use the paved pathway that leads to a ramp with handrails, which connects to the entrance. 

Surrounding greenery and trees add natural elements to the space. The area supports the arrival and departure of visitors, with space for conversation and outdoor use. The layout accommodates wheelchairs, strollers, and ease of movement for users.

Carpark

Reception

Activity Rooms 1 & 2

The area features two activity rooms accessible from the main hallway, with brick walls and wooden outward-opening doors. The room can be split into two meeting rooms, and each is equipped with a coffee maker, projectors and whiteboards. People are likely to engage in classes, meetings, or events, using the available chairs and tables. The atmosphere is calm and professional, with a focus on learning and collaboration.

Dance Studio

The Dance Studio is located at the end of the hallway, past the reception and the Activity Room. The studio is a bright, open space with large windows allowing natural light to flood in. The walls are lined with mirrors and a stationary handrail, providing support for dancers during exercises.

Meeting Room

Multipurpose Hall

The Multipurpose Hall, located next to the reception desk, is a large area with glass windows that allow natural light and views of the surrounding greenery. The building has a mix of wood and brick elements. The hall can be divided into two sections and connects to an outdoor breakout area with barbecue tables and concrete seating.

A separate room contains a kitchenette with standard kitchen equipment. The space is used for events, meetings, or social gatherings and supports flexible room arrangements. The layout and features allow for easy movement across different areas.
