Arrival at Moree Artesian Aquatic Centre

Entrance & Reception

Artesian Spa

The Artesian Spa is accessed through a sliding frosted glass door by turning right from the entrance. Inside, the design features concrete surfaces and a large blue shade sail covering the pool. 

To the left are accessible bathrooms equipped with grab bars and a shower seat. The pool includes stairs with handrails, a pool hoist, and two water fountains. These water fountains gush from a depth of 2,793 feet underground, sourced from the same fountain dug in 1985. The spa uses pure Artesian water which is naturally filtered with no added chlorine or chemicals.

Plastic chairs are positioned around the area, with aquatic wheelchairs available for use.

Outdoor Artesian Aquatic Centre

To access the Outdoor Artesian Pool from the entrance, turn right and follow the corridor to the gated turnstile entrance. Continue towards the automatic glass sliding door to the outdoor area, passing by the retail area with swimwear on the right.  

Directly ahead is the pool, covered with a large sail cloth. It has stairs and a ramp with handrails for entry. The pool uses artesian water.  

On the right, an accessible bathroom is equipped with a toilet, shower with grab bars, a shower bench, and a baby changing station. More amenities are on the left.  

Bench seating surrounds the pool area. The atmosphere is calm and inviting, ideal for relaxation or swimming.

Gymnasium & Group Fitness Activities

To access the Gymnasium from the entrance, turn left at the corridor and enter through an outward-opening glass door on the left. Inside is a modern gym with a clean, organised layout featuring white walls, black rubber tiles, and a mix of glass and metal elements.  

Directly ahead is a locker area for belongings. The gym has various exercise equipment, including treadmills, bench press, weight machines, Smith machines, and free weights.  

Back in the corridor, proceed straight and enter through an outward-opening glass door to reach the Group Fitness Area. This area is spacious with black rubber tiles, spin machines, and free weights along the walls.

Café

The Café is located to the right of the reception area. The architecture features clean lines and a mix of glass and wood. The café counter displays colourful snacks and drinks, serving rolls, sandwiches, hot food, ice creams, and hot and cold drinks.  

Seating is provided with green chairs and small tables, offering a casual and relaxed atmosphere.  

The Café provides a perfect spot for visitors after building an appetite in the gym, swimming pool, or enjoying the artesian bathing.
