Cook + Phillip Park Pool is situated in Sydney's Central Business District on College Street near St Mary's Cathedral. The facility boasts a modern architectural design with distinctive silver walls and signage displaying the facility name in the upper left. A concrete bitumen pathway leading to steps with handrails facilitates access from the car park.

On the right, convenient bike racks are provided. Alternatively, a ramp with handrails is available on the left. Visitors can also access the facility via a step-free ramp equipped with handrails, accessible from the St Mary's Cathedral. The facility is surrounded by gardens and open grassed areas and tall buildings are visible around this area.

Entrance at Cook + Phillip Park Pool

Enter Cook + Phillip Park Pool through automatic glass sliding doors. On the left, the reception has an L-shaped desk with a white design, prominently displaying the facility's name. Adjacent to the reception, a retail space showcases swimwear, goggles, and accessories.

To the right, turnstiles with glass panels regulate access. Descend the stairs with handrails, or via the lift located next to the stairs toward the aquatic centre and sports stadium.

The ceiling has brown timber and silver panels, complemented by blue accents and large glass windows that bathes the space in natural light. Colourful signage and promotional materials are dotted around this area.

Gymnasium at Cook + Phillip Park Pool

To access the gym, turn left past the controlled gate and proceed down the corridor past the elevator. Enter through a manual inward-opening glass door, preceded by movable tables and chairs. A swipe access point is located on the right.

Upon entry, the floor transitions from a hard rubber floor to timber. Directly ahead is the cardio section featuring rowing machines, stationary bikes, and treadmills offering a view of the aquatic pool below.

To the right is the "Stretch" section with blue soft flooring and a sprint track. Weights, kettlebells, medicine balls, and stability balls are organized on the right, with a floor-to-ceiling mirror at the opposite end. A separate weight resistance room is further to the right.

To the left is a set of movable plastic tables and chairs. The entrance to the gym is a manual inward-opening glass door equipped with a banner on the right side of the door. A swipe access point is affixed to the wall on the right. The floor transitions from black rubber tiles outside to timber. Treadmills are visible from the inside. Aquatic Centre at Cook + Phillip Park Pool

To access the Aquatic Centre, pass through the controlled gates to the right of the reception. Descend the stairs with handrails or use the lift located on the left. Lockers are available on the left before the entrance.

Upon entry, there is a 50m heated 8-lane lap pool with ladders and handrails. A hoist and aquatic wheelchairs are available for use. To the left, is an external picnic seating area, furnished with movable tables and chairs. 

Continuing further to the left is the Kid's Leisure Pool with beach entrances, water features, and a ramp with handrails. Adjacent is the Hydrotherapy Pool. Accessible change rooms are also available in this area. 

In the middle is an 8-lane Lap Pool equipped with a ladder and handrail. An aquatic wheelchair and pool hoist are positioned on the corner. Floating ropes and a string of red and orange flyers run across the pool. On the right, the raised pool deck is equipped with free-standing banners. Safety banners are affixed to the wall and metal beams. A shower area and a fire hose reel are on the far right. The ceiling features an industrial look with large concrete beams and air conditioning vents.

Sports Stadium at Cook + Phillip Park Pool

To access the Sports Stadium, pass through the controlled gate to the right of the reception. Descend the stairs and turn right. On the right, there are four vending machines offering food, drinks, and personal care products. To the left are the male and female and an accessible bathroom. 

Storage units are positioned for belongings near the entrance. Nets are suspended from the ceiling to separate the court. The play area has  timber floors with colourful markings for various ball games. 

Upstairs, the gym has a vantage point for gym attendees to observe court activities. Spectators can also watch from a designated area. The industrial-looking ceiling has exposed concrete beams and fluorescent lights.
