Arrival
At Water's Edge Resort is situated on a scenic, steep hillside on Golden Orchid Drive. The multi-storey building features a sleek design, combining glass and concrete, with large windows across its façade. Each level includes balconies that offer outdoor spaces for residents and guests. The surroundings are lush and tropical, with pathways lined by palm trees and vibrant plants.
The entrance has a smooth driveway and a clear pedestrian crossing. Parking is located underground with a low clearance, suitable for most vehicles. Visitors move calmly through the area, arriving or departing, while the well-maintained landscaping enhances the resort's tranquil atmosphere.
Reception
Entering the reception through a wide, outward-opening glass door with a wooden panel, the reception desk with a rustic, intricately designed front is directly ahead. In front of the desk is a seating area with cushioned chairs, offering a comfortable space for guests to relax. The room has stone tile flooring and a high ceiling, creating a spacious atmosphere.
To the right, a staircase with handrails provides access to upper levels, while a nearby corridor leads to the elevator. Visitors are likely checking in, resting in the seating area, or browsing brochures on local attractions in a calm and inviting environment.
Pool Terraces
The pool area is spread across three terrace levels, offering a stunning view of Airlie Beach through lush tree canopies. The main pools are located on the level above reception via an elevator or a number of separate staircases with handrails. Gym
The gym is situated on the lower ground floor, accessible by turning right from the main entrance. Entry is through two inward-opening manual doors.
