When you first enter White's IGA Peregian Beach, you'll notice to your right a selection of fresh flower bouquets, fruits, and vegetables. On the left is the bakery and pantry section with lots of pieces of bread and other baking needs.

Accessible parking spaces right outside the entrance of the IGA shopping store. The parking area has yellow stripes and white lines. Accessible parking signs in blue and white are drawn in the parking area for persons with mobility issues. Black shopping carts are carefully arranged outside the store.

At the top of the automatic door of the shopping store is, “Welcome to White’s IGA Peregian Beach.” On the left side of the door is a thermal scanner with a hand sanitiser dispenser and a magazine rack. To the left of the store is a space for all the shopping carts.

• Have tactile tiles prior to steps, ramps, jetties, piers and other hazards.

HEARING

• Staff are trained in communicating with people who are deaf or have hearing loss

• Have visual alerts for emergencies (Include flashing light)

PHYSICAL - MOBILITY

• Use floors/coverings which are slip resistant, firm and smooth

• Use non-slip tiles in the bathroom or slip resistant matting
