Arrival at White's IGA Forest Glen

White's IGA Forest Glen is set within a community shopping village with car parking directly adjacent to the store. A pedestrian crossing connects to other shops in the village and provides step free access from the car park into the store. Two accessible car parking spaces are positioned directly out the front of the store entrance, with an additional car parking space located on the other side of the pedestrian crossing.

The store is readily identifiable from Grammar School Way, which is just off Mons Road and is surrounded by a residential area as well as the Sunshine Coast Grammar School. Access into the store is via automatic glass sliding doors with shopping trolleys located just outside the entrance to the store.

Moving around White's IGA Forest Glen

White's IGA Forest Glen is a well-designed grocery store with fresh fruit and vegetables the first significant section toward the right as you enter the store, followed by five wide aisles of an extensive range of grocery items.

To the left is the bread and pastry section and to the back of the store are the specialty items. Further to the left is a hot food section where food for lunch or dinner, including coffee can be purchased.

A significant portion of the internal walls of the grocery store is made up of a continuous refrigeration and freezer unit for dairy, perishable, and frozen goods. Accessible bathrooms are located close to the store.

To the right, separated by a wide walkway is a table and bench with a range of snacks in boxes and trays on display. A popcorn stand is further along to the right situated next to a ‘Lollies’ stand.
