Arrival at Victoria Park Pool

Victoria Park Pool is situated on the intersection of City Road and Parramatta Road, centrally positioned within Victoria Park, adjacent to Lake Northam and Victoria Park Playground. The building, is a low-rise modern brick structure with two accessible car parking spaces, reachable from City Road, located directly in front of the main entrance.

Additionally, a public car park off City Road is available with a 2-hour limit. Access the facility through the entrance gate on Victoria Park, traversing a long meandering path. From the car park, there’s a step-free ramp to the entrance. Entry is facilitated through two glass manual doors, offering both inward and outward opening options.

Reception

To enter the facility, use the manual glass door, opening inward or outward. Straight ahead, is the reception desk featuring a circular desk designed with silver and timber. Controlled glass gates are on the left and right sides of the reception desk. Upon entry, a retail area displaying swimwear and swimming accessories is in the middle.

A hallway veering left leads to the First Aid room. Next to it are the gym and accessible bathrooms. On the right, there is a hallway leading to the creche and accessible bathrooms. The aquatic facility is behind the reception, and is accessed via manual opening glass doors.

The facility entrance showcases a brown concrete facade with a portico displaying the facility's name in bold letters. Step-free access is available on both sides. Landscaped plants adorn the left and right areas. The entrance comprises a manual glass door with posters and a freestanding sign in the middle. Outdoor Aquatic Centre

To access the Outdoor Aquatic Centre, pass through the controlled gates and move through double, manual opening glass doors. To the right is the café, which has moveable tables and chairs located both inside and outside. Ramp entries with handrails on both sides facilitate access to the pool area.

Directly ahead is the Kid’s splash pool with a beach entry, a small water fountain, and shade cloths. Adjacent is the 50m heated outdoor pool, featuring 8 lanes, diving blocks, stepped and ladder entry points, and a pool hoist available upon staff request.

Bench seating is available under shade cloths and on the pool deck. Accessible change rooms are within the main building facility and at both ends.

Access to the Outdoor Aquatic Facility is through a manual glass door. Immediately inside, free-standing banners and an aquatic wheelchair are positioned in the middle. Shade cloths overhead provide shade to the Kid's Splash Pool. An aluminum railing separates the upper pool deck and the pool area. Further behind is the lap pool, with pool guards and guests visible.
The Kids' Splash Pool has a beach entry and a small water fountain under a white shade cloth. Adjacent to it is the 50m heated outdoor pool, equipped with floating ropes and diving boards. A free-standing banner stands on the pool deck, where guests are currently using the pool. To the far left, there are umbrella shades, and tall trees surrounding the area.

Positano Café

To access the Positano Café at Victoria Park Pool, turn right after the controlled gates. Inside and outside, movable tables and chairs are arranged under shade cloth near the Kids' Splash Pool. The café counter features a circular desk with a silver front wooden top.

Three fridges on the left and right offer cold drinks and energy drinks. An ice cream freezer is positioned on the right. The café menu includes all-day breakfast and poolside bites like toast, rolls, wraps, shakes, smoothies, frappes, coffee, and drinks.

Accessible bathrooms are located at the end of the hallway for convenience.

Gymnasium & Fitness Studio

To access the Gymnasium, turn left past the controlled gates from reception and immediately turn left. Proceed down the curvy hallway; the First Aid room is on the left, and is accessible through a glass sliding door. Members need to swipe their access card or wristband for entry. Inside, the floor has black rubber tiles. 

Immediately ahead are exercise machines, stationary bikes, and other cardio machines. Adjacent to the gym is a hallway leading to the bathroom and next to it is the Exercise Studio, accessible through a manual glass door.

The studio has timber floors, a small stage, mirrors, and a window wall offering a view outside. Spin machines, stability balls, and punching bags are also available for use.

The black wall is equipped with posters and directional signages. To the left is a white sliding door equipped with a swiping machine for badge entry. A brown mat is installed on the doorstep.
