Carpark
Sports House, located on Christine Avenue in Varsity Lakes, supports water-based sports, fitness activities, and community programmes. It includes meeting rooms and offices for sports organisations. The parking area includes both street and allocated bays, with accessible car parking spaces at the rear. The road leading to the car park slopes gently downhill.
The low-set building is made from metal and glass. A ramp with handrails provides access to the main entrance. Visitors are often parking, walking to the entrance, or viewing the nearby water. The environment is calm and organised, with clear paths supporting easy movement.
Arrival
From the carpark, wide, smooth concrete paths and long winding ramps with handrails lead to the building. Tactile paving is in place to support navigation. Entry is through an automatic glass sliding door. Inside, the reception area has wooden flooring and a seating area. The space is well lit, with wayfinding signs throughout to support orientation.
People may be entering for community activities, returning books, or attending meetings. The environment is calm, with steady movement as visitors enter and exit the building.
Full Meeting Room
The Full Meeting Room, located adjacent to the reception area, is a flexible meeting space suitable for training, workshops, and community activities. The full meeting room can also be used for indoor recreation such as yoga or pilates. A partition wall allows the space to be divided into two rooms. The room is spacious with wide doorways and a clear layout.
The room has white walls, a carpeted floor, and a suspended ceiling with fluorescent lights. Large windows overlook the lake. The room is fitted with a TV, whiteboard, and air conditioning. People may be attending meetings, training sessions, or recreation programmes.

Small Meeting Room
This meeting room is adjacent to the reception area and is accessed through an inward-opening door. The room is a compact, well-lit space with white walls and a carpeted floor. It features a wooden table surrounded by office chairs and a large TV mounted on the wall. The room is equipped with air conditioning, providing a comfortable environment.
The layout is straightforward, with clear pathways for easy navigation. There are wide doorways and ample space between furniture. This area is likely used for meetings, discussions, and presentations, fostering a focused and professional atmosphere.

Deck
The deck area is located at the end of the hallway and is accessed through an inward-opening glass door. The space is constructed with a combination of brick and metal materials. A fully equipped kitchen is positioned to the right before the entrance. To the left is an accessible changeroom with a toilet, shower, and grab bars, which requires staff assistance for access.
Tables and chairs are placed throughout the area. A vending machine for drinks and snacks is located to the left. The deck overlooks a lake and is situated near boat storage rooms. People may be gathering, preparing for boating, or spending time near the water.
Accessible Toilets Downstairs
The amenities area is located under the deck and includes male and female bathrooms, as well as an all-gender accessible bathroom with grab bars and a shower. Access requires staff assistance. The area can be reached from the deck via stairs or from the car park and pontoon area.
Outside the bathrooms are plastic chairs and a charging spot for scooters. People may be preparing for water-based activities, resting after exercise, or spending time near the water.
Pontoon
The pontoon deck is a large platform located across from the Sports House building and near the carpark, designed for boarding and exiting boats. It includes a hoist for accessible entry and exit. A seating area is positioned on the deck for waiting or resting. The path to the deck is smooth, slightly curved, and has tactile paving to support navigation.
The deck is bordered by plants and overlooks the water. People may be preparing for boating, watching activity on the water, or resting before or after use.
