Redcliffe Tigers Visual Story
Arrival
Redcliffe Tigers, located on Nathan Road, is a low-set building with a dark grey brick façade. The venue includes a sports ground and extensive parking, with six clearly marked accessible car parking spaces near the entrance. Step-free access is available from the parking area, with wide concrete pathways leading right, passing the bicycle racks.
Continue towards the building and enter through an outward-opening glass door. The surroundings include suburban housing and open fields. A prominent sign marks it as the home of the Redcliffe Tigers. The area is spacious, with well-maintained greenery and clear signage for easy navigation.
Clubhouse
Upon entering through the outward-opening glass door, a reception desk and bar counter are on the left. Behind the bar, a fridge is stocked with liquors and beers. Adjacent is a small retail display with shirts featuring the club’s name. Above, a display cabinet showcases trophies and club achievements. Next to this is a couch and coffee table.
The space is open with a high, white sloping ceiling and downlights. Seating includes high bar stools and dining tables, creating a casual restaurant atmosphere. The flooring transitions from outdoor concrete to grey carpet tiles inside, with large windows and glass doors providing natural light and views of the field.
Playground
The outdoor playground features a large shaded area with blue canopies, offering sun protection. The playground includes slides, swings, and climbing structures, all set on soft mulch. Surrounding the play area are picnic tables and benches under additional shaded covers. The playground is enclosed by a fence with a gate for safety.
To access the playground from the car park, turn left and follow the smooth concrete pathway, passing bicycle racks and a large water tank on the right and the road on the left. The playground layout ensures easy access and provides a secure, family-friendly environment for children.
Sports Field
To access the Sporting Fields at Redcliffe Tigers, turn right before the Clubhouse entrance and pass the change rooms on the right. There are stairs with handrails for field access, or for accessibility, a concrete ramp with handrails is located at the far end. The Sports Field features a full-size AFL field with large stadium lighting.
Concrete rows under a shaded structure provide tiered seating for spectators. Small steel structures on the AFL boundary offer seating and viewing for athletes and coaches. The area is spacious with clear pathways and well-maintained greenery.
Change Rooms
To access the change rooms at Redcliffe Tigers, turn right before reaching the Clubhouse entrance. A low-set building on the right has four grey doors. The first two doors are utility rooms. The third door leads to the Home Change Room, and the fourth door opens to the Away Change Room.
Both rooms are spacious with bench seating, bathrooms, showers, and ambulant toilets equipped with grab bars. The design includes a metal cage roof lining and fluorescent lights. The walls are tiled with black, yellow, and white stripes. Hooks for hanging items, rubbish bins, and ample space for movement are provided.
