Peregian Beach Hotel Visual Story
Arrival & Entrance
Peregian Beach Hotel is a two-storey modern building made of concrete and glass, featuring a white horizontal slats façade with pink accents. Turning first left into PBH from David Low Way leads to the parking area, including one accessible car parking space. There is a step-free ramp from the parking area to the three wide steps with handrails leading onto the decking.
Additional parking is available on the second left off David Low Way. From here, move across the bitumen to the verandah area where tables and chairs are arranged. Entrance to the facility is through an inward opening glass door. The outdoor area is adorned with potted plants, shaded by large umbrellas, and offers ample seating.
The Front Bar
Directly ahead from the main entrance is the front bar, featuring ceilings with textured brown panels and ceiling fans. The bar area has shelves filled with wine and liquor bottles, glasses, and multicolour light fixtures hanging overhead. A large wooden fish sculpture is mounted on the upper white wall, while large arched windows allow natural light to flood the space.
High tables and high chairs fill this area, and the floor is timber. To the left of the bar is access to Il Porto, and to the right is access to the restaurant. Bathrooms can be reached by turning left, passing the gaming room, and taking a sharp right before Il Porto, leading down a corridor which can also be accessed from the restaurant.
Il Porto Cocktail Bar
From the main entrance, turn left into a corridor and move past the gaming room on the left and bathrooms on the right. Il Porto features textured blue-green tiles with white walls and a pink ceiling.
The bar counter is sleek and contemporary, with a smooth, light-coloured surface. Behind the bar, a well-organised shelving unit holds a variety of bottles containing different types of alcohol.
Above the bar counter, there is an overhead structure made of wood with a woven rattan design. The area has high tables and wicker chairs. A glass door leads to the verandah where tables and chairs are arranged under large umbrella shades, surrounded by pine trees and a garden.
Bistro Dining
To the right of the bar is access to the main restaurant where guests wait to be seated. Directly ahead is the kitchen and server area. Further right is additional seating with wooden tables, movable plastic chairs, and cushioned benches against the wall. The floor transitions from timber to grey tiles.
Adjacent to the restaurant entrance are wooden stairs with handrails and glass panels leading to the mezzanine. The lunch menu is available from 12pm to 2.30pm and the dinner menu from 5pm to 8.30pm whilst pizza is available all day from 12pm to 9pm. The menu is seasonal and has options available for both gluten free, vegetarian as well as vegan guests.
Mezzanine Dining Area
There are stairs to the right of the restaurant that lead up to the mezzanine. The mezzanine, with a glass and metal railing, overlooks the bar, offers varied seating, and provides a quieter dining location for those wanting to be away from the busier bar and restaurant downstairs.
There is a bar (open during busier times) as well as male and female bathrooms available on this level. The overall interior has a white finish with tropical artworks and multicolour light fixtures with furniture featuring timber and rattan, creating a tropical, beachy feeling.
Bathroom Facilities
Coming from the restaurant, a small corridor leads to the bathrooms. The first door on the left is the accessible bathroom with grab rails, followed by the female ambulant toilet with two additional stalls, and then the male toilets. The bathrooms have grey wall tiles with tropical wall accents, complete with hand basins. An automated teller machine (ATM) is available across from the bathrooms.
Bottle Shop
From the entrance gate, take the second turn on the left and drive through the car park, veering to the left to access the Bottleshop. The Bottleshop features a glass door entrance with a smooth pink concrete facade and a sign that reads "PBH BOTTLESHOP".
The surrounding area has trees and a garden, adjacent to a car park with several parked vehicles. The parking lot is spacious, with clear markings and speed bumps. The Bottleshop is open 7 days from 11am.
