Arrival at Palmwoods Aquatic Centre

The Palmwoods Aquatic Centre, located in Montville Road has a spacious parking area with accessible car parking spaces and bike racks. From the parking area, a step-free brick pathway leads to double metal gates. To the left is the reception, along with a small retail area displaying swimwear, goggles, accessories, snacks, and drinks. 

Moving further left, the male and female bathrooms are equipped with accessible toilets, showers with grab bars, shower benches, and baby changing stations. Bench chairs and hooks are available for belongings. Outside the bathrooms, plastic chairs line the walls for seating.

25m Pool

This section features a 7-lane, 25-metre heated pool, with water temperature maintained between 26–28 degrees Celsius. The pool depth ranges from 0.9m at the shallow end to 1.8m at the deep end. The pool is directly accessible from the entrance ahead. It is equipped with steps and handrails at the shallow end and a lift for easy entry. 

Blue canopies provide shade over the pool, and there are designated lanes for different swimming speeds. Surrounding the pool are concrete walkways and grassy areas with seating available. The pool area has a clear, organised layout for easy navigation.

Small Pool

This small pool (Learn to Swim Pool) features an 8x4 metre heated pool with a temperature of 30–32 degrees Celsius. The pool is 1 metre deep and has access via steps. Surrounding the pool are blue plastic chairs arranged along the perimeter, providing seating for spectators or resting swimmers.

The area is enclosed with transparent panels, allowing natural light to filter in while offering views of the adjacent outdoor pool. The pool deck is tiled, and there are various swimming aids and equipment available nearby.

To access this pool, turn right from the entrance, pass by the seating area, and enter through the low glass gate.

Wading Pool

The Wading Pool is a children's pool play area located at the right of the entrance gate.  The pool is shallow with a maximum depth of 0.61 metres. It features colourful water buckets that pour water intermittently, adding an element of fun. 

The pool is surrounded by a low, transparent barrier for safety and visibility. A large blue shade sail provides ample protection from the sun. The area is adjacent to a building with amenities and is surrounded by lush greenery and a parking lot.
