Monty's House Visual Story
Arrival & Entrance
Monty's Home is a 2-storey, 7-bedroom house overlooking Kondalilla Valley, located in Montville. The entrance is accessible via a ramp leading to inward-opening timber doors. To the right, a step-up leads to parking areas, while to the left, a step-down provides access to a spacious courtyard.
On-street parking accommodates approximately six cars near the entry via the pathway, with additional parking for 8-10 cars near the tiny home. Guests can be dropped off directly at the front entrance, where the ramp provides easy access.
Kitchen & Dining Area
Entering through the front door leads directly into an open kitchen and living area. On the left are large windows offering views of the courtyard. Timber floors extend throughout, giving the area a warm and cohesive look. To the right is a timber dining table with ten moveable chairs and bench seating.
Moving ahead, there's a large island on the right equipped with ample drawers and workspace. Continuing forward, the kitchen sink is positioned with a view of the valley, flanked by a black dishwasher and generous bench space.
To the left is a black fridge and a blue and black oven. A door at the end of the kitchen opens to a verandah, enhancing the open, airy feel and providing a seamless connection to the outdoors.
Lounge Room
Turning right from the kitchen leads towards the lounge area. Timber floors cover the space, with blinds and curtains on the windows. A large brown leather couch is centrally placed, flanked by two green feature chairs and a round glass coffee table atop a grey carpet. Above, a black ceiling fan is present, with a large wall-mounted TV to the right.
The walls display pictures of Kondalilla Falls, while large windows offer views of the valley. On the left, sliding doors open to the balcony, adjacent to a feature fireplace. There is ducted aircon throughout this floor and an iPad is available on the wall at the entrance to the corridor to the bedrooms for aircon control.
Bedrooms
There are seven bedrooms, with all beds adjustable to be either a king or two singles. Turning right from the entrance leads to a bedroom with three single beds. The remaining bedrooms are down the corridor to the left of the entrance. The first and second bedroom on the left have similar features: two single beds, drawers, and a ceiling fan.
Across, is a room with a king-size bed, and drawers. Around the corner is a bathroom with a bathtub shower, sink, and a view of the balcony. Continuing, another room on the left includes two single beds and courtyard views. Across the hall, is another bathroom.
Further to the right is a bedroom with a queen bed. The last room has access to the courtyard and amphitheatre.
Upstairs Bathroom
The upstairs bathrooms are modern and functional, featuring grey tiled floors and walls with green accents. From the entrance, head straight and turn left. Follow the narrow corridor. At the end, turn right. The first door on the right opens into a bathroom. Inside is a toilet, a bathtub, a handbasin, and a vanity mirror.
Back in the corridor, the next door on the right has a slight step up into the second bathroom, which includes a step-free shower with grab bars on the left. Further ahead on the left is a toilet with grab bars.
On the right is a handbasin with views of the valley. Both bathrooms have grey tiled floors, green accents, glass mirrors, and freshly painted walls. White towels are provided.
Upstairs Balcony
The upstairs balcony features a spacious open area with a tiled floor and a white picket fence. To access the balcony, move through the glass sliding door in between the lounge and kitchen.
To the left, there is a BBQ, bar fridge, and sink, while to the right, a large table with 14 chairs and a lounge area with a coffee table are present. The balcony offers views of the valley and mountains, with garden beds, palm trees, and seating arrangements enhancing the ambiance.
Timber stairs lead down to the bottom balcony, and a tiled pathway leads to the atrium via a small timber bridge.
Downstairs Bathrooms
From the top of the stairs near the dining table, a staircase with handrails descends 13 steps. The first door on the left leads to the laundry and storage area. Continuing down the corridor, a small step up on the left leads into the bathroom, which has a hand basin on the left, a shower straight ahead, and a toilet to the right.
Moving down a slope one step down leads into a salon or workspace area. Down another step, to the left, are three mirrors. Moving forward towards a large glass window, and then up two steps to the left, is another bathroom.
Entering through the inward-opening door, directly ahead is the hand basin. Around to the right is the toilet, with step-free access to the shower.
Downstairs Living Area
From the entrance, move to the right, passing the dining table on the left and a bedroom on the right, and descend 13 steps. At the bottom, a small step down and a slope lead into the salon or workspace area. This space, equipped with windows offering views towards the valley, can be used for work or hairdressing and makeup for weddings and events.
Further to the right, directly ahead, is an infrared sauna. Adjacent to the sauna, a large sliding door opens to the downstairs balcony. Across from the sauna, up one step, is a lounge area featuring two green two-seater couches and a rug.
This space is ideal for games and relaxing. This area has timber floor with air conditioning and ceiling fan.
Downstairs Balcony
The downstairs balcony is accessed through a glass sliding door from the downstairs living area. Turn right into the garden area and step up to a section with views of the garden and mountains. Move up three steps to the wooden deck.
On the left is a heated pool, while lounge chairs are positioned further to the right. The area is secured by a metal fence and glass panels, providing an unobstructed view of the mountain and greenery.
Ampitheatre
The amphitheatre is accessible by turning left before the main entrance door. Proceed through the concrete path with a timber canopy decorated with hanging potted plants. Seating areas are on the left. The amphitheatre has a spacious concrete floor, surrounded by timber walls and stainless steel railings.
Wooden stairs lead to elevated seating areas. Trees and gardens are placed throughout the space. The open-air design allows fresh air and natural light, making it suitable for events such as weddings, concerts, yoga sessions, and movie nights.
Monty's Tiny Home
Monty's Tiny Home is a two-storey tiny house located a few metres from Monty's House. Enter through the glass sliding door. Directly ahead is a couch and a small dining table. To the left is a fully equipped kitchen, and next to it are wooden stairs leading to a loft bedroom. To the right is another set of stairs leading to a second loft bedroom.
Further right is another bedroom. Each bedroom has a queen bed, a closet, storage, and blockout curtains on the windows for restful sleep at any time. The bathroom, at the end of the kitchen, has a toilet and shower. Outside, picnic tables and seating are on the deck, with views of the forest and greenery.
