Arrival at Millmerran Aquatic Centre

The Millmerran Aquatic Centre, located in Commens Street,  is an open-air facility near a busy highway, enclosed by a large black barrier fence and featuring a vibrant mural on the entrance of the building. The spacious parking area has clear concrete pathways leading to the entrance, which is accessed through an inward-opening metal gate. 

To the right of the entrance is the reception counter, while directly ahead, an outward-opening metal gate provides access to the pool area. The rural setting adds a fresh, open atmosphere to the centre.

Reception & Café

Millmerran Aquatic Centre features a breezeway entry with a black gated entrance leading to a reception and payment area on the right. The structure is single-storey, made of concrete with metal gates. The reception offers a small selection of snacks and beverages. 

The area is open and airy, with clear pathways and accessible features like step-free access. The entrance has a manual gate, and the reception desk is accessible with a counter at a comfortable height.

Splash Park

The Millmerran Aquatic Centre has a splash pad with water play structures, a shaded pool area, and a fenced playground. From the entrance, turn left to access the splash pad, which features multiple tipping buckets, sprinklers, and hoops. 

To the right, the pool has colourful water features and a ramp with handrails for entry. Blue shade sails cover the seating and play areas, offering sun protection. The pool is located next to the Olympic pool, grassy areas, and picnic tables. Children often jump and laugh under the splashing water, adding a lively energy to the space.

Olympic Pool

Millmerran Aquatic Centre features a 50 metre rectangular swimming pool with clear blue water, surrounded by wide concrete pathways. Blue shade sails provide partial coverage over the pool. To the left, accessible pathways lead to a row of lockers. 

Next to the lockers is an accessible bathroom equipped with a toilet and shower with handrails. Adjacent to the pool, a grandstand offers shaded seating with metal benches and dedicated wheelchair spaces. 

The area is open and spacious, with grassy patches and picnic tables. To reach the pool from the entrance, head straight and turn right, following the smooth concrete pathways.
