Entry

The facility features two main entrances, North and South, each with a series of stairs with handrails and elevators. The architecture is modern, with glass and metal elements, and the entrances have manual outward-opening glass doors. The North entry is used for everyday access, while the South entry includes a ticketing office for events.

When arriving from the underground car park, guests can use the lift or stairs with handrails to reach the reception area.  Inside, the space is open and bright, with polished concrete floors and a high ceiling. Visitors are likely to be attending events, purchasing tickets, or enjoying the kiosk area.

Central Hallway - "The Street"

The facility features an internal corridor called "The Street" on level 1, designed with a high ceiling spanning three stories and a central curved staircase. The polished concrete floors are speckled, and the walls have brown timber accents.

Clear signage directs visitors to Halls 1 and 2, kiosks, and amenities. Seating areas are placed near entrances for convenience. During events, the corridor is bustling with activity as people move between basketball courts, food outlets, and restrooms.

Hall 1

Hall 1 is a large sports venue with exposed steel beams and bright fluorescent lights. The polished wooden floor is suitable for basketball, netball, and indoor soccer. Tiered seating on one side can be adjusted for various events. From the North Entrance, Hall 1 is reached by turning right, past the café area. 

On the right, there is an accessible bathroom with grab bars and a baby changing station. The space is lively and energetic during competitions, with visitors engaging in sports, watching games, or socialising in the seating areas.

Hall 2

Hall 2 is a spacious sports facility with eight courts and a small tiered seating area on level 2. The architecture features large exposed steel beams, bright fluorescent lights, and varnished floorboards, giving it an industrial feel.

The hall is designed for various sports like basketball, netball, and indoor soccer. Accessibility is prioritised with ramps, wide doors, and accessible bathrooms. Visitors are likely to engage in sports activities, spectate games, or enjoy the vibrant environment.

Courtside Café

The Courtside Café is an open-air venue on level 1 with views of a nearby sports field. The design combines glass and timber elements, creating a modern and bright space. Seating is available both indoors and outdoors, providing a spacious layout.

To reach the café from the North Entrance, turn left at the top of the stairs. An accessible bathroom with grab bars and a baby changing station is nearby. The café offers a relaxed setting where visitors can enjoy coffee or meals, often after sports activities.

Meeting Rooms

The Meeting Rooms on Level 2 feature carpeted floors and glass walls, creating a professional and open layout. Tables and chairs are arranged for meetings and events. The rooms are accessed via a central stairwell with handrails or lifts and entered through inward-opening glass doors.

The rooms overlook the sports stadium, offering a dynamic view. An accessible bathroom with grab bars is located near the lifts. The space is calm, with muffled sounds from the stadium, ideal for meetings, networking, or enjoying the view.
