Fremantle Public Golf Course Visual Story
Arrival
Fremantle Public Golf Course is located beside Booyeembara Park and the Fremantle Community Garden. The 9-hole course is suitable for all skill levels. On-street parking is available with step-free access to a kerbside pathway. The path runs through open space with trees and low vegetation. A mesh fence surrounds the course, with entry through an inward-opening mesh gate. The undulating landscape of the course is visible from several points.
Visitors are often seen parking, walking towards the course, or sitting at picnic tables. The area includes distant voices and occasional golf ball strikes. A light breeze moves through the space, which allows for both active play and quiet waiting.
Golf Shop
The golf shop is a temporary, relocatable building with an undercover awning. Entry is via three steps into the Pro Shop that offers retail items, hot and cold drinks, and snacks. Inside, golfing equipment and clothing are arranged in an orderly layout.
Outside the shop, tables and chairs are set up for visitors to sit and wait. Nearby, temporary bathrooms are available and accessed via a small step.
People are often seen booking tee times or asking for golf advice. The environment remains calm and focused, with a steady flow of visitors preparing for the game.
Golf Course
The 9-hole golf course begins at the Pro Shop, with a concrete path leading to the first tee, driving range, and putting green. The course follows a naturally undulating landscape, sloping upwards. The environment is open and green, with well-maintained grass and scattered trees.
Golf carts are available, and the path is smooth for easy navigation. People are likely to be playing golf, practising swings, or enjoying a leisurely walk. The atmosphere is calm and focused, with a sense of relaxation and enjoyment.
