Arrival & Reception

at Whitsunday Vista Holiday Apartments, located on Hermitage Drive in Airlie Beach, is set on a steep hillside with a wide, inclined driveway leading to the rear. The multi-storey building features white-railed balconies and a design of concrete and glass structures.  

The entrance provides step-free access and designated check-in car parking spaces. Entry is through a manual outward-opening glass door. Inside, the reception desk with tourist brochures is on the left, and a couch is positioned on the right. An accessible bathroom, equipped with grab bars, a hand basin, and a mirror, is located to the left of the entrance. Visitors are likely checking in, gathering information, or relaxing.

Arrival at Street Level

Guests may arrive at Street Level which is 2 levels below the main reception area. Guests can arrive by bus, taxi, or on foot, and access the reception via ramps, steps with handrails, or an elevator. Entrance to the building is through an outward opening glass door. Bright promotional signs and clear directional signage guide visitors. The atmosphere is lively, with people likely checking in, socialising, or waiting for transport.

Spicy Thai Restaurant

The Spicy Thai Restaurant is an Asian-themed restaurant located adjacent to the main reception area, offering stunning views of the ocean, marina, and mountains. The interior features a flowing water fountain, with large glass windows and tiled floors and wicker seating in the waiting area.

Wooden dining tables are arranged in the middle and near the window. The restaurant is accessible from the reception via a manual sliding glass door. Guests are likely to enjoy dining while taking in the views, creating a relaxed and serene atmosphere.

Bayview Spa Studio Suite

The Bayview Spa Studio Suite has a functional layout, with each apartment featuring its own unique colours, furniture layout, and artwork. This space includes a bed with bedside lamps and a mirrored wardrobe. As each room has differing bed configurations, please advise your preference when booking and the team will do their best to accommodate your request.

The bathroom, accessed through an inward-opening door, features a step-up spa with a shower, toilet, and small vanity. A small dining table is positioned near the kitchenette, which is equipped with a microwave and fridge. An outward-opening glass door leads to a balcony with a seating area, offering views of the pool, ocean, and street below.

This interior features a living area with a TV, a small dining table, a bed with bedside lamps, and a mirrored wardrobe. 

As each room has differing bed configurations, please advise your preference when booking, and the team will do their best to accommodate your request. The bathroom includes a combined shower and bath adorned with white tiles and a vanity. Access to the apartment is via an elevator or stairs with handrails.

Pool

The pool area can be accessed from street level, one level below reception, or via a lift connected to the underground car park. Entry is through an outward-opening white metal gate. On the left are shaded seating areas, and on the right is a small platform. The surface consists of brown brick pavers, which may be slightly uneven.  

A descending ramp with handrails leads to the pool, which is covered by a shade sail and surrounded by a white fence. Sun loungers and tables are arranged around the pool for relaxation. The area is calm and functional, designed for swimming, sunbathing, and socialising.
