Arrival and Entrance

Ashford Swimming Pool on Bala Street in Ashford is an open-air pool situated beside a local bowls club. The entrance is through a small brick building with a central breezeway that leads directly to the pool area. A mesh fence surrounds the venue, keeping it open to the surrounding view while ensuring safety.

Parking is available beside the entrance for easy access. Inside, the reception area includes a small café surrounded by a wire mesh grill that serves snacks and drinks. The setting is calm and welcoming, providing a pleasant space for families and the community to swim, relax, and spend time together.

Swimming Pool

The outdoor pool area has a 25-metre pool with a blue shade structure providing cover from the sun. Steps and ladders provide access to the water. Adjacent to is a wading pool with shade and shallow water, allowing young children to play safely.

Wide grassed areas with established trees surround the pools, offering shaded spots for rest. Picnic benches are placed throughout for comfort. A nearby brick building contains the changing facilities, clearly marked with signs for easy orientation.

The area feels lively and refreshing, with people swimming, relaxing, and enjoying picnics in the open space.
