Arrival and Entrance at Woodford Swimming Pool

Situated on a gently sloping hill facing northeast, the outdoor Woodford Swimming Pool is nestled amongst gum trees. With residential houses on one side and native bushland on the other, the facility has a tranquil atmosphere.

A car park is situated on the higher side of the facility with two accessible car parking spaces and a step free entrance down a sequence of concrete ramps. A small masonry brick building in an orange rendering form that administrative centre and amenities.

Arrival at Woodford Swimming Pool is through the concrete pathway connected from the main road. The pathway is composed of granite floor square blocks with rough surfaces. There is a large green lawn with newly planted trees before this pathway, and it is next to the low-set yellow building with a dark corrugated roof. Bushes and shrubs are placed aesthetically around the facility.
The concrete pathway connects to another concrete ramp with handrails on the side of the yellow-brick, low-set building with a dark grey corrugated roof. The concrete pathway is composed of granite floor square blocks with rough surfaces. On the upper right wall of the building is the Woodford Community Swimming Pool, detailed in white paint over a dark grey background. The residential houses to the back are evident from this position.

Aquatic Facilities at Woodford Swimming Pool

Woodford Swimming Pool is located directly ahead of the entrance gate. The central feature is a six-lane lap pool equipped with steps and a ramp with handrails, flanked by shaded structures at both ends.

The southern end boasts two large umbrella shades, while the northern end features a dark grey corrugated iron shed for storage, along with pergola-like shading over picnic tables and an electric BBQ. 

To the right of the reception, two small toddler wading pools are situated under semi-shaded blue dome shade cloths. Adjacent to the pool, a small café offers snacks and drinks, and there is an accessible bathroom equipped with a shower and toilet with hand grabs.
