Arrival at Whitlam Leisure Centre

A white HI-ACE van is parked in one of the accessible car parks at Whitlam Leisure Centre, as marked by the accessible parking sign painted in blue and white. On its left side is an accessible parking sign only for persons with a mobility disability and an arrow pointing in the direction of the van. Two yellow bollards are erected in the space connected to the pathway leading to a pedestrian lane.
Walking past an accessible parking space from the previous leads to a pedestrian lane and to a large tree at the focal point with abundant foliage giving ample shade. In the car park are a number of cars and tall trees scattered in the area providing enough shade for guests after getting out of their cars. Skyscrapers at the back of the venue can be seen from this position.
A zebra crossing leading to the smooth, concrete, blue pathway to the entrance of Whitlam Leisure Centre. At the boundary of the grey pathway are flag poles, flags, and grey bollards. There are also lamp posts assigned to opposite sides of this wide pathway. A large tree inside the black fence and pool provides great shade to the pathway.

Adults and children are enjoying their bonding time at the children’s pool. Aside from the mushroom fountain, there are metal tubes spurting a standard flow of water on the edges of the pool. A no-diving sign is also placed to caution all the guests. Visible further to the back of the image is a digital clock and a white hoist sling for lifting persons with mobility disabilities.
The Aquatic Centre at Whitlam Leisure Centre has a domed roof with solid light blue steel archways and a light grey ceiling. Large air conditioning blue tubes composed the main structural frame of the ceiling. Approximately half of the roof allows natural lighting as a giant skylight. There is a children's, step-free entrance pool featuring a yellow mushroom fountain. Before entering the pool, guests could see the signboards for caution.
An aquatic wheelchair settled near the children’s pool. Black chairs are scattered around the pool for bags. At the end of the pools are glass walls that show the external pool area.
The image shows the 8-lane 25m lap pool on the left side while the jacuzzi can be found on the right side, separated by the hip-length glass walls.
