The Station, located in The Avenue, Birtinya is a unique shopping precinct, that has an innovative architectural design crafted from repurposed shipping containers and has dome-shaped corrugated roofing. Directly adjacent to the entrance is the parking area, including two accessible car parking spaces.

The venue's character is accentuated by dynamic street art adorning the container walls. There is clear directional signage and smooth pathways for visitors traveling from the parking area to the entrance of the venue.

Entrance

The venue's entrance features a charming portico embellished with lush overhead foliage. Clear signage marks the entryway, showcasing the venue's commitment to fostering a vibrant and welcoming community.

Upon arrival, guests are led along a vibrant rainbow path towards the Box Office and Platform One, passing by a confectionery shop offering an assortment of treats. To the left lies the "Sleepers Garden," a shaded structure adorned with landscaped plants and shipping containers with artistic decorations.

The Local

The Local Café/Bar is situated directly ahead of the entrance, passing by the Sleepers Garden on the left and Platform 1 and Alleys Skatepark on the right. The Local provides a communal dining setting, complete with picnic tables shaded by umbrellas, all set on a level, and mostly smooth bitumen surface.

To the left, a timber ramp leads to the bar counter with a corrugated front, timber floors, and dome-shaped roofing. More tables and chairs are strategically arranged in this space. Here, diners can be observed enjoying their meals and engaging in conversation, soaking in the inviting open-air ambiance.

The Concourse

Located at the right of The Local Cafe/Bar is The Concourse, a spacious area with a large dome-shaped roof. Food vendors line up on the sides, offering an array of food including sandwiches, smoothies, and ice cream. Picnic tables and stools are positioned in the middle.

There is a centre stage, a dedicated performance area, where live music resonates during events. The semi-outdoor setting bustles with activity and is a hub for eating, socialising, and entertainment.

Platform One

Platform One is situated adjacent to "The Concourse". The entrance is through a large steel door. Inside, the wall is adorned with art and cassette tape decoration. As visitors enter, the floor transitions from bitumen to artificial turf, leading into a two-storey edifice, constructed from shipping containers with dome-shaped roofing.

Picnic tables and stools are arranged in the middle, complemented by a stage for performances. A ramp is provided for access to the bar counter, while a staircase with handrails leading to the VIP lounge is positioned on the right. Furnished with ample seating, the space can become densely populated and noisy during events.

Indoor VIP Lounge

The VIP lounge, perched above Platform One, is accessed via stairs with handrails located on the right. High chairs are strategically placed to overlook Platform One, offering guests a prime view. A long couch is positioned against the wall, providing a comfortable seating area.

In the centre is a bar surrounded by additional chairs and tables. The VIP lounge offers a less crowded atmosphere, where the energy of live events is balanced with a sense of seclusion and exclusivity. Wooden floorboards underfoot and an overview of the domed space below provide a distinguished ambiance.

Alleys Skatepark

Alleys Skatepark is located beyond The Local, nestled beneath the yellow-painted shipping containers. Its entrance is flanked by two retail shops and bordered by colorful art walls. Upon entering, visitors will find a picnic table positioned on the left, accompanied by a portable water dispenser.

Alleys Skatepark has an expansive open-air area where skaters can enjoy a smooth transition from concrete to skating surfaces. Adjacent to the skate park, the retail spaces offer a contrast to the vibrant activity of the park. When in use, the distinct sound of skateboards echoing on the concrete and smooth surfaces becomes notable.

Amenities

The accessible bathroom and parent's room are located at the right of the Alleys Skatepark and adjacent to the event centre. A timber ramp, equipped with handrails provides access to the amenities. The accessible toilet features hand grabs, an easy-to-reach sink, and an emergency cord. The parent's room is equipped with a toilet and a changing table. Additionally, a bathroom is also available at the left of the entrance gate.

To the left is a ramp equipped with handrails and truncated domes. An accessibility signage along with a yellow safety sign is affixed to the wall.
