Parking & Reception

Sporting Wheelies, located on Kilroe Street in Milton, is a single-storey building with a wide open carpark, featuring accessible car parking spaces. The facility's exterior is made of concrete and metal, with a large roller door and a glass entrance door. The pathway from the parking area is step-free, leading to an automatic glass door. 

Inside, the reception area is on the left. The reception features a modern design with a curved desk, black leather seating on the left, and a display cabinet on the right. The floor is dark and textured, and the walls are lined with vertical panels.

Basketball & Multipurpose Courts

The Basketball Court and Multi-Purpose Courts at Sporting Wheelies are large open spaces with high ceilings, located adjacent to the reception and gym area. The floors are marked for various ball games and feature a wooden surface.

The structure is primarily made of brick and metal, providing a spacious layout, and the area is well-lit with overhead lights. This setup allows for multiple activities to take place simultaneously, catering to diverse sporting needs. Bench chairs are arranged in the middle and along the walls for seating.

Gym

The Gym at Sporting Wheelies features a wide entrance that leads directly from the reception area and courts. The gym area is open-plan, with high ceilings and large windows that provide natural light. The floor transitions from timber to black rubber tiles.On the right, there are exercise machines and free weights, while a bench and other workout machines are positioned on the left.

At the end of the room is an accessway that allows wheelchair users to access the all-gender-accessible bathroom which includes a shower and toilet equipped with grab bars and a shower bench.  A commercial kitchenette with a sink and fridge is located on the left. The atmosphere is energetic, with music playing throughout the space.

Consultation & Meeting Rooms

The Consultation & Meeting Rooms at Sporting Wheelies are positioned to the left of the gym entrance. The meeting room has high ceilings with exposed beams and a combination of brick and white walls. It is cosy, featuring carpeted floors, a large table, and a flat screen. Ample natural light enters through the windows.

The Consultation rooms are compact and functional, equipped with basic medical equipment, a desk, and adjustable beds. These rooms have centralised air conditioning. Sounds from the gym, including music, can be heard within the rooms.
