Lake Kawana can be seen behind the venue as you enter. Two ticketing counters manage the flow of arriving and departing visitors issuing named lanyards upon entry. A significant range of marketing materials is on display at the entrance.
Moving to the right is an expansive outdoor courtyard in a circular design with a range of vendors providing food, coffee & tea, cold drinks, and other refreshments. Additional vendors providing information relevant to the event are located within this area.
Main vendor hall at scout23
Directly ahead through open doors is the main vendor hall, which features highly polished timber floors and fluorescent down lights which results in some glare & reflection.
This space is large but filled with a range of brightly coloured vendors featuring their product or service and therefore a large array of prominent marketing posters and materials which dominate the area. Potential crowding may impact movement despite the distance between stalls and step free area and solid flooring.
Accessibility hub at scout23
The Accessibility hub is located on the ground floor next to the main vendor hall and is a quieter space with some seating and close proximity to the bathrooms. This area also has a number of vendors with displays featuring their accessibility product or service. A range of colourful banners and marketing materials feature in this space as well as low set tables.
