Sandstorm Beach Club Visual Story
Arrival
Sandstorm Beach Club, located on Mains Road in Nathan, features 8 full-sized beach volleyball courts. The large parking area leads to a concrete driveway, ending at a chain-link fence gate. There are stairs with handrails and a ramp for wheelchair access.
After entering, a low-set building with a covered front displays the facility's name. Surrounding the area are natural gum trees, and the entire space is enclosed by a chain-link fence. The prominent QSAC main stadium is clearly visible from the club, creating a noticeable landmark nearby.
Reception & Canteen
Upon entering through the chain-link gate, a low-set building on the left houses the Club reception, canteen, and small retail area. Further in, shaded seating with artificial turf flooring is available. On the right, cushioned benches tables, and chairs are placed adjacent to the sand volleyball courts.
At the end, passing by the seating area is an accessible bathroom equipped with a toilet and shower with grab bars, bench chairs, and a hand basin. Next to it is another toilet. The space is open with clear pathways and accessible seating.
The surrounding greenery and fencing provide a secure and welcoming environment for visitors.
Beach Volleyball Courts
The Sandstorm Beach Club volleyball court area consists of eight full-sized sand courts, each with blue net posts and boundary lines. A high fence surrounds the courts for safety, and sand covers the entire playing surface. Shaded seating areas and benches are positioned along the perimeter for spectators.
The surrounding ground is a combination of concrete and artificial grass. Tall floodlights are installed to ensure the area is well-lit for evening games.
