The car park next to Lions Football Club is spacious and clearly marked, with designated accessible car parking spaces adjacent to the entrance. Smooth asphalt paving and step-free concrete pathways guide visitors to the main entrance, where automatic sliding doors allow easy access.
The environment feels calm and open, with the nearby sports facilities visible, enhancing the sense of purpose. People are likely arriving for sports activities or events, creating an atmosphere of anticipation and excitement.
Clubhouse
The clubhouse is located upstairs, accessible by an elevator or a wide staircase from the main lobby. Entering through the automatic glass sliding door, the stairs with handrails are directly ahead, and the elevator is on the left.
Upon exiting the lift, a set of double outward-opening doors leads to a spacious carpeted area with tables and chairs. An accessible bathroom equipped with grab bars, a hand basin, and a baby changing station is nearby.
This open-plan space is versatile for events, dining, or social gatherings. Balconies on both sides provide views and fresh air. Outside the entrance, a glass case displays framed photos, sports memorabilia, jerseys, and other items, adding character to the space.
Grandstand
The Grandstand, accessed via the clubhouse balcony, is positioned between the main Grandstand and the club room. This modern open space features large glass doors and windows for a clear view of the sports field. The architecture is sleek, with metal and glass elements. The balcony includes tiered seating, tables, and chairs, providing ample spots for spectators.
An outward-opening metal gate leads to a tiered seating area accessible by concrete steps with handrails. Here, people watch sports, socialise, and enjoy refreshments, creating a lively and engaging atmosphere. The open-air design allows for a refreshing breeze and a close connection to the outdoor environment.
Changerooms & Oval
The changerooms are situated on the ground floor of a brick building with a simple, functional design. Inside, the spacious area includes benches and hooks for gear, as well as toilets and showers.
The building is surrounded by well-maintained sports ovals with lush green grass. White lines mark the field, indicating its use for sports like rugby or soccer. Tall light poles stand around the field, enabling evening play. People gather to play or watch, creating a lively and energetic atmosphere around the grounds.
