Pelican Park Pop Up Gym Visual Story
Arrival
The Pelican Park Pop-Up Gym in Hastings Town Centre has a brick and glass façade with bright blue signage for easy identification. The gym is open seven days a week. Parking is available on the street, with additional parking at the back of the building. The rear parking includes two accessible car parking spaces.
The main entrance is step-free. There are step-free pathways that guide wheelchair users from the rear car park to the entrance. Access to the gym is through a manual inward-opening glass door. The area is busy with people heading to the gym for workouts or visiting nearby establishments.

Gymnasium
The gym features a blue-arched, step-free entry and is accessible via manual inward-opening glass doors. Inside, the floor transitions from tiles to black rubber tiles. The space is well-lit with overhead lights, and the walls are lined with mirrors, enhancing the sense of openness.
Cardiovascular and resistance equipment, including treadmills, Smith machines, bench press machines, and free weights, are arranged throughout. The gym reception desk, featuring a blue front is positioned to the left. A storage rack for belongings is positioned adjacent.
The atmosphere is energetic, and people are likely working out on treadmills, bikes, and weight machines.

Amenities & Changerooms
Portable amenities, including a temporary changeroom and bathroom, are available at the rear of the gymnasium. The bathroom is accessible for wheelchair users via a portable wooden ramp leading to it. The bathroom includes a toilet with a grab bar, mirror and a handbasin.
Adjacent is a changeroom, and a water fountain. People are likely to engage in workouts, use the changerooms, and hydrate at the water fountain. The atmosphere is energetic and focused, with a sense of determination.
