The Noosa Visitor Information Centre is located on Hastings Street in Noosa Heads. The centre is located 40 metres from the beachside roundabout, with direct access from the pedestrian walkway. The nearby parking area is managed by the Noosa Council and accommodates cars, motorbikes, and bicycles, with accessible spaces available.

There are shaded areas from nearby trees and distant views of the ocean. The area is active with people parking, walking towards shops, or pausing to take in the scenery. The mix of natural views and urban activity creates a busy setting where visitors prepare to explore the local attractions.

Arrival

The arrival area at the Noosa Visitor Information Centre has smooth concrete tiles, large glass windows, and wooden accents. A step-free ramp from the parking area leads to the entrance. The reception window is directly ahead, with a small seating area nearby. Pamphlets and guides are displayed for visitors.

To the right of the reception window are the amenities, including an all-gender accessible bathroom with grab bars. The compact layout is organised for easy movement. Visitors may be collecting maps, reading guides, or planning activities in a calm, functional setting.

Visitor Information Centre

Noosa Visitor Information Centre features an expansive open-plan entrance with fold-away doors seamlessly connecting the pedestrian walkway to the interior. The step-free entrance welcomes visitors, with changing floor surfaces from large paving tiles to polished concrete. Inside, a high roof and extensive skylights flood the space with natural light.  

Bright tourism brochures line the walls, while staff in natural-coloured uniforms greet guests. Towards the rear, there's a travel centre booking service and small retail showcasing t-shirts, sweatshirts, and travel mugs. Visitors queue and browse as they move about, whilst the seating area offers visitors the opportunity to take a break and rest whilst perusing information.

Beach Wheelchair Hire

Noosa Main Beach has a beach wheelchair available for hire which is designed for use on sand as well as off-road. The wheelchair has large wheels suited to beach conditions and an alternate set of wheels for off-road use, for example in the Noosa National Park. It works with the all-abilities beach mat to support safe movement onto the sand.

The beach wheelchair is available for hire through the Noosa Visitor Information Centre at a cost of $15 for half a day or $25 for a full day. Bookings can be made by emailing info@visitnoosa.com.au or by speaking directly with a team member at the centre.
