Noosa Tennis Club Visual Story
Car Park
The Noosa Tennis Club parking area is spacious and surrounded by lush greenery with numerous car spaces, however no designated accessible car parking spaces. The surface is paved, and the area is bordered by trees and shrubs. From the car park, there is a step free concrete pathway that leads to the entrance. The entrance is marked by a clear sign, and pathways are available for pedestrian access.
Arrival
Entrance to the facility is through an inward-opening black mesh gate. To the left are the male and female toilets. Moving straight ahead and then turning left leads to the Pro Shop, which is accessible via a manual sliding glass door. Further inside, a black metal gate secures entry to the courts, ensuring controlled access.
Pro Shop
The Pro Shop is a fully equipped store with an attached Bar and Café, accessible by a small step up. The walls display tennis equipment, including rackets and apparel, adding a sporty feel. The shop is well-lit with ceiling lights and a fan for ventilation.
A grey-fronted reception desk sits at the entrance, with an ice cream freezer, a fridge for cold drinks and a small display rack that holds snacks sit nearby. Outside the café, there is a seating area with tables, chairs, and stools for visitors to relax and enjoy their refreshments.
Clubhouse
The Clubhouse includes a spacious lounge with a fully equipped kitchen, accessible through a manual sliding glass door. To the right is the kitchen area, complete with kitchen drawers, a sink, stove, fridge, and microwave. Adjacent to the kitchen is a seating area with a wall-mounted TV.
To the left, a wall displays trophies and club achievements. The architecture is simple, featuring white brick walls and large windows that allow natural light. Outside, tables and chairs under a covered patio provide a comfortable spot for socialising or enjoying a meal.
Courts 7 & 8 (Undercover)
Courts 7 and 8 are situated directly in front of the Clubhouse, fully covered by a large dome structure made of metal and fabric. Entry is through inward-opening metal gates, with Court 7 to the left and Court 8 to the right, both clearly numbered. Each court has self-activated lights positioned at the entrance.
Opposite the courts, undercover seating is available for spectators. The space is open and airy, blending natural and artificial lighting, providing a comfortable environment for play and viewing.
Courts 2, 3, 9 & 10
Following the paved concrete pathways to the left are Courts 2 and 3, followed by Courts 9 and 10. Each court has an inward-opening black mesh gate with a self-switch for lights, allowing for convenient evening play.
Courts 2 and 3 are enclosed by chain-link fencing and have a synthetic grass surface. Courts 9 and 10 are outdoor tennis courts with a vibrant blue surface. The layout provides easy access, with a clear view of each court's unique design.
Courts 1, 4, 5 & 6
Courts 1, 4, 5, and 6 are located to the right of the Clubhouse, accessible through inward-opening metal gates and paved concrete pathways. The courts are enclosed by chain-link fences, with clear signage. The ground has artificial turf and slightly uneven, requiring caution.
Switches are available for lighting, making it easy to control the court lights. Nearby, a shaded picnic area provides a spot to relax. The atmosphere is calm, and suitable for both casual and competitive play.
Pickleball Courts
All the way to the left are the pickleball courts, featuring vibrant blue and green surfaces accented by a colourful mural. The courts are enclosed by tall, black chain-link fencing and surrounded by lush greenery, creating a natural backdrop. Three courts are available for hire, each clearly marked with numbers for easy identification. Tall floodlights support evening play, ensuring visibility for games after dark.
