Arrival at Mudgeeraba Aquatic Centre

Arrival at Mudgeeraba Aquatic Centre is through the sloping road off School Street. The entire property is nestled between bushes and trees with a great leaf canopy cover. Right before the parking lot is a zebra crossing with a circular orange and yellow road sign with legs in the middle. There is a fence covering the property but is visible up the parking.
Cemented pathway with grey brick edges leading to the children’s playground in front of the facility. On the sides of the pathway is a well-maintained garden with cut leaves. There are two blue-green sunshades that provide shade in the pathway and to the children’s playground. Near the parking and in front of the red steel fence is a red bench.

A few meters away are four windows with some small adverts in the first window frame.
Parking for people with disability is marked by a white parking sign with the letter P, accessibility logo, and the word Only printed on the flat sign board. Beside is the 2-hour parking sign with green print including date details. On the left side is the name of the facility, detailed on a white wall, while on the right is a brown fence with skylit roofing that covers the cemented smooth pathway at the center. At the back of the red bench is a tall red signboard.

Entrance to the Mudgeeraba Aquatic Centre

Entry to the Mudgeeraba Aquatic Centre is through an artistically unique printed gate moss green gate that is made of different sizes of holes that offer a glimpse into the other aquatic area. On the left side of the gate is the blue signboard for the pool rules or conditions of entry. The reception has a brown painted wall with a black roll-up window.

The reception area has a white countertop full of snacks and candies, which has a cash register with a black monitor. Inside is a retail of different swimwear and accessories and a vending machine. The reception staff is wearing a light blue and orange uniform.
Small children’s splash zone at Mudgeeraba Aquatic Centre can be distinguished by an orange, yellow, blue, and green painted floor directly to the left of the reception. Short metal poles eject water. In the middle of the splash zone is a blue pole with two triangular buckets at the top. Two black sun shades party covers this zone. There are two signboards outside the children’s splash zone.

Outdoor Aquatic Area

Outdoor aquatic area is directly ahead of reception with a 6-lane, 25m pool heated to a temperature setting of 26.0 - 28.0 degrees and has a depth range of 1.1m to 1.9m deep. The diving blocks are covered with a “No Diving” blue cloth. On the left side of the pool is a black-tiered seating, a handrail on the edge, covered with a black roof. Next to the tiered seating are two grey sunshades with yellow chairs. Two yellow floating devices are attached to the poles with triangular blue flags.

The pool has polished brown natural stone tile edges.  Each pool lane is separated by red, white, and blue floating rope lanes. There is a black rubber mat on the right side of the pool. A silver metal bench with a back support can be found placed near the glass windows.

Indoor Aquatic Area

Right next to the tinted glass sliding doors with black frames is the Indoor program pool heated to 33 degrees Celsius and is restricted to rehabilitation and gentle exercise users over the age of 16 in Mudgeeraba Aquatic Centre. The Parent room inside has a wooden bench, a blue plastic picnic table, and a table with a colorful coral structural design. To the back is a glass window and a black door. The Parent room has a smooth cemented floor with a white ceiling.
The indoor aquatic pool has ramp access with metal handrails near the tinted sling glass door. There are strings of blue triangular flags across the pool that are attached to the white ceiling. The indoor aquatic pool has tinted windows that provide a view of the outside. A blue rectangular floating platform can be seen on the pool. Around the pool is a white grille corner. A black aquatic wheelchair is available on the right.
Ramp access with metal handrails in the indoor aquatic pool. Different seating options are accessible throughout the poolside area. From this position, there are two more doors next to the tinted glass sliding doors. On the wall between the two doors is a large poster with cute swimming pool graphics.
View opposite the wall with the cute swimming pool graphics. There are several pool floating toys on the poolside. A “Caution No Diving” sign is placed on the pool edge with metal handrails. Two strings of blue triangular flags across the pool are attached to the white ceiling. Blue and yellow chairs are available around the pool deck. The area is illuminated by artificial lighting and natural light from the tinted glass walls.
