Boccia Sport Program
Boccia is a sport that has been contested at the summer Paralympic Games since 1984. The goal of this sport is to throw or roll balls (white or red) as close as possible to a white target ball, called the "jack," on a smooth playing surface. Players can use their hands, feet, or special equipment to throw the balls. The game is played individually or in teams, and it’s all about strategy and precision. The person or team with the most balls closest to the jack wins the round.
Target Participants
Although Boccia is a sport for people with disabilities, at Sporting Wheelies, our Boccia programs are open to everyone, regardless of age or ability. With no limitations on who can join, it is a welcoming activity for individuals of all skill levels and abilities.
