Arrival to the Monbulk Aquatic Centre

Arriving at Monbulk Aquatic Centre, parking spaces are available in front of the facility, on the sides, and extra parking can be found under the numerous shaded tree areas. There are two accessible car parking spaces located directly adjacent of the entrance.

The building features a design combining brick and white tiles. An arched design of the facility enhances the exterior façade with access to the building through an automatic glass sliding door. Trees, gardens and lush bushland surround the facility.

Parking spaces in Monbulk Aquatic Centre nestled in a wooden area. The park space floor transitions from dark grey to light grey and back to dark grey when going closer to the entrance. On the floor surface of the parking area are white directional arrows and yellow lines marking the parking spaces. Monbulk Aquatic Center has a curved roof with grey to dark purple brick wall finish. The entrance can be distinguished by a black arch near the glass windows with white metal frames.

Reception and Café

Beyond the entrance lies the reception desk and a cafe. Displayed on counter shelves are pastries, sweets, treats, and beverages. On the left, various swimming products, including swimwear and accessories, are showcased. Banners and posters with instructions are strategically placed, alongside a sanitising machine.

To the left of the entrance is the café, where tables and chairs are arranged for seating. Additionally, a flatscreen TV is mounted on the wall and there are glass windows with views out over the gardens and car park.

In front of the desk is a white automated sanitizer dispenser placed on a short, black metal post. A closer look at the swimwear and swimming accessories of the reception desk and café inside Monbulk Aquatic Centre. The blue wall display at the back with the white ZOGGS logo showcases upper and lower swimwear for kids. Above it is a white clock, a white Health Club sign with an arrow pointing to the left passageway that has a large white gym advertisement at its entryway. Aquatic Centre

On the right of the reception, a set of automatic glass sliding doors open to the Aquatic Centre. Inside, is a 25-metre Heated Indoor Pool, and an Indoor Heated Program Pool with a Splash Water Park. A hoist and aquatic wheelchair are available. Locker areas, change rooms, and an accessible change room (including a shower and toilet with handrails) are close to the pool area.

There is also a Changing Places Facility available which includes an adult change table, a ceiling hoist, and a shower with handrails. To the right, there us a  pool store offering various swimming gear and accessories, whilst further to the right is the Monbulk Marlins Swimming Club.

Gymnasium

From the main entrance, pass through the cafe seating area and proceed straight through the passage way to locate Monbulk Gym on the left. Enter through the inward-opening glass door with a water fountain at this entrance and a series of shelves for guests to leave personal effects.

Inside, there are a variety of cardio and fitness machines, such as a squat rack, bench press, smith machines, treadmills, barbells, dumbbells, and more on a carpeted floor surface. The cardio equipment faces out over the surrounding bushland and there is also a verandah that can be accessed to take in the view. There is an accessible bathroom located nearby to the gym.

The gym entrance is through a set of double glass doors with white frames. The floor is of natural stone grey, while the walls and ceiling are white. On the ceiling just before the entrance door is a square fluorescent light. On the left side is a large poster detailing what the Begin Program is all about and a grey water fountain. On the left side is a grey door with a grey sign for FIRE HOSE REEL and a large board for facility rules. Seen through the open doors is a woman using an air walker.
To the left is the Gym grey reception desk with a dirty white body frame. On the desk compartments are a green first aid kit bag and grey baskets. To the right are large square pots with green plants. The gym has a grey rubber mat floor and dark grey walls and ceiling. Squat racks, bench presses, smith machines, treadmills, barbells, and dumbbells are available. The left wall is a combination of a mirror, glass windows, and a nature painting. Mounted on the back wall are flat-screen TVs.
On the glass door that is open inward is a grey sign with black HEALTH CLUB letters. The door has a grey metal frame with a stainless steel U-shape handle. Behind the open glass door is a digital screen. The next section is for the black stationary bikes that have black walls with a motivational quote and a flat-screen TV mounted on the wall painted with a road and trees on the side. The other section has bench presses, dumbbells, and a lat pulldown.
Behind the black square potted plants are two chest press machines with a gray frame, black padding, and yellow handles. On the left side are various colors of iron-weight plates and a grey yoga ball. On the white back wall are two graphics lit by rectangular lighting. On the right side is an open light grey cabinet for bags.
