Arrival to the Michael Clarke Recreation Centre

The view metres away from the front of Michael Clarke Recreation Centre. Several steel bollards with a round hole at the top and sandstone blocks can be seen in the entryway leading to the venue's entrance. Surrounding the venue are trees and bushes with stunning diversity. The venue's name can be visibly seen at the top of the building.

Step-free entry from one of the two accessible parking spaces at the Michael Clark Recreation Centre. The pathway is on the side of the building, painted in red, and has an elevated-looking diamond pattern. Surrounding the venue are medium-height trees with significant foliage planted within a square land area with parallel venation. Further on the left are a number of cars occupying the parking area.
Entry to Michael Clarke Recreation Centre is by the tinted glass doors with black edges. The entrance can be distinguished by black metal frames, a seating area with white tables, and black with silver leg frames, chairs, and marking posters displayed on the tinted glass windows. Further to the back of the building are cars parked in the parking area.

Entrance to Michael Clarke Recreation Centre

Upon entering the Michael Clarke Recreation Centre, a long, white reception counter with reception staff wearing blue polo shirts along with their warm smiles will greet you upon your arrival. On the left side of the reception desk is the brand icon of Cérge with a QR code for customers with disability. Right next to the reception area is a Café. Different coffee flavors are offered, which guests can choose on the chalkboard menu in front of the desk.

From this image, the double doors at the Michael Clarke Recreation Centre are automatic. There is a silver rubbish bin near the door, and several cold drinks stored in a large fridge which are available in the Café.

Stadium at Michael Clarke Recreation Centre

The upstairs offices and gymnasium overlook the stadium from above. The Stadium is the size of two basketball courts in a box shape warehouse with large, wide, steel black archways at the ceiling. The sloping roof and large skylights allow for significant natural lighting. The stadium has blue floors with white, yellow, black, and red lines. The space is separated by a black net with square holes and blue cloth at the bottom.
A closer look at the elevator access to the gym and multipurpose rooms at Michael Clarke Recreation. On the right side of the elevator is a caution to not use the lift when there is fire. Under the “Ground” and “Lower Ground” labels on the right side of the elevator are the different amenities found on that specific floor.

Gymnasium & Exercise Studio at Michael Clarke Recreation Centre

The entrance to the Gymnasium & Exercise Studio at Michael Clarke Recreation Centre is through a long corridor with glass walls and an orange silhouette at the lower portion, overlooking the Stadium. Entrance to the gym through a double door with grey metal handles requires a swipe card entry. The ceiling has a unique ladder-looking design.
A “Please keep doors closed” orange with white and blue accents sign can be seen on the right side of the glass double door of the Gymnasium. People enjoying the different training equipment can be seen through the glass doors. At a glance, the distinct orange wall inside can be first noticed.
Resistance training equipment is directly in front, and cardio equipment is positioned across the floor-to-ceiling glass windows. The gym is a modest space with modern equipment, low ceilings, and bright lighting with grey rubber flooring. The natural environment surrounding the venue can be seen through the glass windows.

Tennis Courts at Michael Clarke Recreation Centre

Along the external pathway leading to the Tennis Courts is a dense garden, which you can  meander through to the playground. There is also a staircase with metal handrails to support people with mobility disabilities.
Access to the Tennis courts at Michael Clarke Recreation Centre is via an external pathway. Navigating away from the reception to the right is a sequence of steps and ramps to move down the hill beside the facility. Some noticeable parts of this external path are a lamp post and tree with a white L-shape cemented section.
Further down the stair, on the right, is a diverging concrete pathway in between the garden. The garden is full of plants from the succulent family mixed with bushes. There are also lamp posts in this area.
