Arrival

The Landsborough Museum, located on Maleny Street, combines historical and modern architectural styles. The museum building is brick with a large sign, while the adjacent council building features a classic wooden design. Parking is located at the back of the building with a concrete pathway from the carpark entry to the entrance. Parking is also available out the front of the museum.

Visitors have the option of accessing the site by using steps with handrails or a ramp with handrails. Clear pathways and signage make navigation easy. Visitors can be seen exploring historical exhibits and engaging in educational activities.

Carpark

The parking lot at Landsborough Museum is located at the rear of a building complex. The environment features a mix of concrete and corrugated metal structures, with a fenced perimeter. The ground is paved, providing a smooth surface for vehicles. The back of the carpark is loose gravel and has an uneven surface that may challenge wheelchair access.

There is ample space for turning around, making it accessible for larger vehicles. The atmosphere is calm, with a focus on functionality. People are likely to park their cars here and use the space for loading or unloading goods.

Chambers

The Chambers area at Landsborough Museum combines rustic and modern design elements, featuring wooden seating and spacious, well-lit interior. Upon entering through an inward-opening glass door, the room is accessible via ramp and steps. 

Inside, the high ceilings and soft lighting create an open, calm setting. Historical photos and displays line the walls, adding a historical context. A long wooden table stands in the centre, surrounded by padded chairs. Visitors may engage in educational activities, meetings, or quiet reflection here.

Foyer
