Arrival & Main Area
Upon entering through the manual outward opening door, the reception table with a light wooden façade is on the right. The interior features grey and colorful carpet tiles and neutral walls and ceilings with ceiling fans and fluorescent lighting. The walls are lined with bookshelves filled with a variety of books and media.
There are several tables and chairs for reading, studying, or playing chess. The library is equipped with computers and a hand sanitizing station. Visitors are likely to browse books, use computers, or relax in the reading areas. The environment feels calm and inviting, encouraging quiet exploration and learning.
Children Area
The Children's area at Kenilworth Library is a cosy corner, designed for play, reading, and creativity. This space is located on the right side of the library. Front & Back Entrance
Kenilworth Library sits on a hill, surrounded by greenery, offering a peaceful setting. Access is available from the front or back entrance. The front entrance has a slightly inclined concrete path, bordered by rocks and garden beds, leading to wooden stairs with handrails.
A timber deck provides a resting area, with both a small step and a step-free ramp leading to the entrance, a manual outward-opening door. A self-service book return kiosk is positioned here. The back entrance features a ramp with handrails for easy access from the rear car park.
