Dayboro Pool and Gym Visual Story
Arrival at Dayboro Pool & Gym
The Dayboro Pool & Gymnasium, located at the corner of Mt. Mee Road and Williams Street in the tranquil town of Dayboro, is nestled among well-established native trees, including Gums and Paperbarks. This low-rise brick facility features a designated car park that adjoins a local park, complete with a skate park and a children's gym.
Parking, set under the shade of trees, is just a few meters from the entrance. Step-free access provides a smooth connection for wheelchair users from the parking area to a concrete and brick pathway, leading directly to the gate entrance.
Entering into Dayboro Pool & Gym
The small, low-set brick building from the 1970s, topped with a corrugated iron roof, features black-fenced pool gates that create a barrier entry. A small window on the side of the building enables interaction with the guest experience team, facilitating entry into the facility.
Around to the right of the reception, there's a cozy outdoor seating area for enjoying drinks and snacks. Nearby are the changerooms, gym, and an accessible bathroom, equipped with a toilet with hand grabs.
Moving around the Outdoor Aquatic Area
A local outdoor community pool set amongst well established native trees provides a calm and relaxed setting. A six lane, 25m lap pool is situated down a slight incline with partial shading across one end of the pool.
A second outdoor area separated by pool safety fencing offers a niche toddler splash area underneath a green shade structure. A hoist and aquatic wheelchair is available in this area.
Gymnasium at Dayboro Pool and Gym
A small gymnasium is located at the farthest right from reception and offers a selection of cardio and resistance weight machines including Treadmills, Press Machine, Smith Machine, and weights and other equipment.
The machines are set in a small room with crème coloured walls and pitched ceiling. The black rubber floor matting is notable as a sensory experience upon entry.
