Arrival at Club Helensvale
The parking area is spacious and well-organised, featuring a modern building with a mix of concrete and glass. The architecture is sleek, with a focus on accessibility. There are six accessible car parking spaces located at the back, directly adjacent to the outdoor bowling green. A concrete ramp with handrails is conveniently placed to the right, ensuring easy access to the venue.
The environment is calm and welcoming, with people arriving to play lawn bowls, and attend events or other activities. The atmosphere is relaxed, with a sense of anticipation as visitors prepare to enter the venue.
Clubhouse & Bowling Reception
The clubhouse reception is a grand, welcoming space with a modern design featuring glass and stone elements. The entrance is wide and accessible, with automatic sliding doors. Inside, the lobby is spacious with wooden floors and high ceilings, creating an open and airy feel.
The bowls reception is located around a corner near the main green. Visitors are likely to check in at the main reception, while members head directly to the bowls reception area. The atmosphere is calm and inviting, with a focus on leisure and community activities.
Bowling Green
Club Helensvale features two artificial bowling greens under a large white canopy, offering shade and a comfortable environment, along with an open-air bowling green. The bowling greens are flat and well-maintained, with benches around for seating.
To access the bowling greens, enter through the main entrance and proceed straight, passing the reception desk on the right. Continue towards the restaurant and enter through a glass door. There are stairs with handrails and a portable ramp for easy access to the greens. The space is suitable for both casual play and competitive matches, creating a community-focused atmosphere.
Event Space
The Event Space at Club Helensvale is designed for functions, events, and meetings. The room is large and open with low ceilings and carpeted floors. Located upstairs, it is accessible by elevator for ease of use.
From the entrance, turn left and go through an automatic glass sliding door. On the right, stairs with handrails lead to the space, or use the elevator on the left. Upon reaching Level 2, turn left and proceed through an outward opening glass door to enter the event area. The space is well-lit with modern lighting, providing a quiet and functional environment for various gatherings.
Restaurant & Bar
The restaurant and bar area of Club Helensvale offers multiple seating options overlooking the greens. The space is carpeted and includes stools, cushioned chairs, bench chairs, and couches.
To access the restaurant from the reception, turn left and pass the small retail area on the right, which displays T-shirts and a shelf with various liquors. Further ahead, a shelf showcases trophies and club achievements. An automatic glass sliding door leads to the restaurant.
Amenities include an accessible toilet with grab bars located at the end of the room, accessible via a small corridor with white tiles.
