GENERAL ACCESS

 Offer a range of contact methods for receiving complaints and discussing feedback regarding accessibility issues/barriers.
 Have accessibility information and photos, including of a bathroom, room and/or floor plan on your website (can be emailed on request)
 Entry is free.
 During the school term, the centre may be closed in the morning to help facilitate school excursions.
 You can visit the grounds 7 days a week during daylight hours.
 The onsite café is open from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Wednesday and Friday to Sunday (subject to change).
 Centre Open Tuesday to Friday 9AM to 3PM except Public Holidays.

COMMUNICATION

 Provide clear, concise internal and external directional signage throughout your facility.
 The Sensory Garden is a great place to visit if quiet time is needed.

VISION

 Provide digital communication materials (hard copy information is also available on line)
 Have an appropriate area for toileting an assistance dog
 Have effective lighting throughout facility.
 Information is available in large print for some displays.

HEARING

 Grounds maintenance equipment, including mowers, line trimmers and blowers, may be heard at times.

PHYSICAL - MOBILITY

 Have grab rails in the bathroom

PHYSICAL - WHEELCHAIR

 Have step free outdoor pathways
 Have step free access to into our business premise
 Have wheelchair accessible picnic tables
 Have wheelchair access to amusements and activities
 Have at least one wheelchair accessible parking space with wheelchair accessible signage clearly displayed
 Have a wheelchair accessible toilet
 Have clear space between furniture and exhibits for a person to manoeuvre a mobility aid
 Have an accessible public toilet which is unlocked (during daylight hours).
