Arrival & Carpark
Brisbane Table Tennis Club is a low-set warehouse building with a low-height carpark on Green Terrace, Windsor. Accessible car parking spaces are located under the building. From the parking area, visitors can use the step-free entrance through a white metal gate and an automatic glass sliding door.
Directly ahead are stairs with handrails. To the right is elevator access to the upper level. Turning left leads to an accessible toilet, which includes a toilet, grab bars, a mirror, and a hand basin. The layout ensures easy access and convenience for all visitors.
Reception
Upon entering through the automatic glass sliding door, the elevator is on the left, and the reception area is straight ahead. To the right is a small retail section showcasing items like rubber shoes, paddles, T-shirts, and other tennis gear. Behind these displays is a wooden notice board on the wall, listing the names of club members and tournament winners.
Further to the right, there is a large noticeboard holding a grid of logos from various sponsors. The main area is a large sports hall with multiple tennis tables surrounded by seating for spectators. The flooring is timber, and the walls have informational boards and signs. A lift and stairs from the ground carpark also lead to the reception area.
Table Tennis Stadium
To access the table tennis area, visitors can use the lift from the ground carpark and press the button for the Accessible Table Tennis area. From the reception, descend a 5-step staircase with handrails on the left. The accessible tennis area is on the left. The venue features a spacious hall with numerous tables separated by blue barriers.
The flooring is bright red, and the ceiling is lined with fluorescent lights, creating a well-lit environment. Seating areas for spectators are located adjacent to the stairs. Movable chairs are arranged in the middle aisle, creating a barrier between the rows of table tennis tables.
Canteen
To access the canteen from the main entrance, head straight towards the end of the lobby, with the reception and tennis area on the left and the manager's office on the right. Enter through a glass sliding door. To the right is a serving counter, while to the left are tables and chairs arranged for dining.
This section has a low ceiling with bright fluorescent lights and timber floors. The area is enclosed, with large glass windows providing a view into the adjacent table tennis area.
