Arrival

The Brisbane International Shooting Centre, within the Belmont Sporting Complex, is housed in a large industrial-style facility. The entrance has a car portico, with accessible car parking spaces adjacent. From the parking area, there is step-free access leading to an outward-opening glass door.

Surrounding the facility is lush greenery, offering a spacious and open layout. Clear pathways allow easy navigation, and the area is well-maintained with visible signage. There are designated drop-off zones near the entrance for convenient access.

Clubhouse & Reception

Upon entering, the reception desk is on the left, where guests can check-in and receive directions to the shooting range (during events). To the right is a seating area with couches and a coffee table. Adjacent to this is a display cabinet showcasing trophies and club achievements.

Further to the right is a corridor that leads to the male, female and unisex accessible bathroom equipped with a toilet and shower with grab bars, and shower bench.

Tables and chairs are arranged in the middle of the room. Further ahead is a vending machine offering cold drinks. The club house includes a café-style catering area with additional tables and chairs. The space is well-lit, with large windows allowing natural light.

10m Range

The 10m range is a long, wide warehouse space with steel beams and corrugated iron. From the entrance, turning right leads to a manual glass sliding door. After entering, another right reveals the 50m shooting range on the left. 

Continuing right leads to a carpeted area. Inside, 60 shooting lanes are set up, each equipped with electronic scoring systems, plastic chairs, and target displays. Additional chairs are arranged against the walls on the left for spectators. 

The ceiling features exposed beams and insulation, contributing to the industrial aesthetic. Multiple screen displays hang from the ceiling, providing information and updates.

50m Range

The 50m Shooting Range is a long industrial warehouse-style shooting range. To access this range, head straight from the entrance passing by the clubhouse and enter through a manual glass door. Inside, the indoor area features shooting lanes with chairs and wooden tables, while the targets are located 50 metres away in an outdoor range. 

The targets are symmetrically placed in special target boxes. The range is well-lit with overhead lighting and has large roller doors providing natural light and views of the outdoor targets.

25m Range

The 25m pistol range is housed in a separate warehouse facility accessible from the main entrance via an outward opening door. From the entrance, proceeding straight leads to the 50m range on the left. 

Continuing to the end, an outward opening door provides exit access. Turning left, concrete pathways lead to another outward opening door. Inside, individual shooting lanes are equipped with digital scoring systems. 

The interior is spacious with high ceilings and large roller doors allowing ample natural light. The range is surrounded by greenery, creating a serene environment outside the shooting area.
