Brennan Park Visual Story
1. Arrival and Parking
The arrival and parking area at Brennan Park is located across the road from the Seaside Museum and is bordered by established gum trees. Step-free concrete pathways connect the parking area to the main park spaces. The shared car park includes one accessible car parking space. An amenities block is positioned near the waterfront and includes two accessible bathrooms that include toilets with handrails.
The park is adjacent to the shoreline, and you may hear waterbirds and the movement of water nearby. This area is used for park access, walking and entry to picnic and recreational spaces.
2. Playground
The playground at Brennan Park is located beneath established trees that provide shade. The ground surface includes mulched bark and sections of rubber matting. Equipment includes swings, slides and climbing structures designed for younger children. Wide concrete pathways connect the playground to surrounding park areas and support mobility aid access.
Nearby cafés and retail shops are located within walking distance. The playground overlooks the adjacent waterway. This area is used for supervised play and informal recreation.
3. Central Park
Central Park includes open grassed areas bordered by concrete pathways suitable for walking and wheeled mobility. Established trees provide shade throughout the space. Barbecue facilities are positioned overlooking Pumicestone Passage.
A small community stage which can be accessed via steps with handrails and is used for local events and market activities. Seating areas are located along the pathways. This area is used for picnics, informal sports and community gatherings.
4. BBQ and Pathways
There are step-free concrete pathways that connect the park facilities to the barbecue units and seating areas. Larger shelters feature corrugated iron roofing for weather protection. This area is adjacent to the amenities block and overlooks the water.
The pathways run alongside landscaped greenery and the adjacent waterfront. This area is used for walking, picnics and informal gatherings. You may hear the movement of water and nearby bird life from the shoreline.
