All Access Day Mooloolabah Beach Visual Story
Arrival at All Access Day
Mooloolabah Beach is a popular tourist destination with significant urban development. The Mooloolabah Surf Life Saving Club (SLSC) is the prominent landmark and influences arrival to Mooloolabah Beach.
An extended accessible car parking space is available on the southern side to the Mooloolabah SLSC. Extensive step free pathways from either side of the Mooloolabah SLSC direct pedestrians to the beach access points.
Experiencing All Access Day
Getting to All Access Day and the festival of activities is situated around the Mooloolabah Surf Life Saving club and has four activity areas. Zone 1 is the welcoming area underneath the Life Saving Tower. Zone 2 is situated down the concrete ramp to the beach and on the left and Zone 3 is on the right.
Both areas are accessible with support of beach matting. As a popular tourist location large numbers of swimmers, surfers and sunbathers frequent the beach. A quieter zone is located on the southern end of the clubhouse with shaded areas and a sensory tent. The BBQ is also located within this zone.
Quieter shaded areas & Amenities at All Access Day
Set on the southern side of the Mooloolaba Surf Club in the grassed and shaded areas are additional activities designed for a lower sensory and slightly quieter experience. A sensory marquee and immersive VR experience is set up along with a BBQ tent.
The closest public bathrooms for All Access Day are also located in this area. The facility includes an accessible bathroom with a baby change table. Step-free entrance from the car park joins the pathways leading to these bathrooms.
