Arrival at Huntly Aquatic Centre

Vehicle access to the Huntly Aquatic Centre is from Wight Street, and there is parking available outside the facility along this street as well as accessible parking on the western side of the building, which also has ramp access to the aquatic centre.

The building is a low-set, blue building with yellow features and is situated in a suburban area close to parkland, sports fields, and backing onto a lake. There is signage on the front wall detailing the name of the facility.

Surrounding the Huntly Aquatic Center is a spacious green field. The property is enclosed in a black, see-through, chain-link fence. Inside the property is a two-seating area with a roof, trees without much foliage, and a lake at the back. Right outside the fence are two circular gardens containing a variety of plants. A cemented pathway separates the parking space in front and the green field of the centre.

Throughout Huntly Aquatic Centre

The entrance to the pool is through outward-opening glass doors and leads to the reception area with a small retail offering. To the right is a small pool and a children's splash area. There is another small pool to the left of the reception, which has ramp access.

The large pool is further along and has steps with handrails. There are four unisex toilets, as well as changing rooms for men and women, and one accessible toilet. Staff wearing a combined yellow and red shirt are positioned within the pool perimeter.

The ceiling features exposed wooden beams and a corrugated roof. Adjacent to the changing rooms, there is a fully equipped gym with cardio and weight equipment.

Aside from the steel pool ladders, there is also another pool ladder but with small steel tubes of yellow handrails. Strings of triangular blue flags can be seen hanging above the large pool. Long rows of low-brown benches are available on the opposite side of this pool.
