Grand Mercure Apartments Magnetic Island on Sooning Street is situated near the Magnetic Island Ferry terminal. The entrance has a large inward-opening metallic security gate, leading to a reception area with concrete and bitumen surfaces overlooking the harbour.

The modern building features glass and concrete elements and is set on a sloping hillside with a steep rock face at the rear. Entry to the reception is through an outward-opening glass door. Inside, the wooden-fronted reception desk is on the left, a seating area is in front, and additional chairs are arranged to the right. Visitors may be checking in, admiring the view, or preparing for activities.

Apartments Block & Parking

Blocks 1, 4, and 5 are equipped with lifts, while all blocks have stairs with handrails. Guests can access their accommodations via these routes from the parking areas. The pathways are well-maintained and guide visitors efficiently through the area. The environment feels calm and organised, with the natural rockface providing a distinct backdrop.
