Michael Clarke Recreation Centre is a modern and industrial-style building with bright red branding across the front of the building. A number of steel bollards and sandstone blocks complement the industrial design. The venue is on the side of a sloping hill with parking at the top of the hill with two accessible car spaces.
The upstairs offices and gymnasium overlook the stadium from above. The Stadium is the size of two basketball courts in a box shape warehouse with large, wide, steel black archways at the ceiling. The sloping roof and large skylights allow for significant natural lighting. The stadium has blue floors with white, yellow, black, and red lines. The space is separated by a black net with square holes and blue cloth at the bottom.
A closer look at the elevator access to the gym and multipurpose rooms at Michael Clarke Recreation. On the right side of the elevator is a caution to not use the lift when there is fire. Under the “Ground” and “Lower Ground” labels on the right side of the elevator are the different amenities found on that specific floor.

On the opposite sides of the accessible unisex change room is the female shower and change room on the left and the male shower and change room on the right. Similar to the corridor walls of the previous image, this also has grey brick walls.

The entrance to the Gymnasium & Exercise Studio at Michael Clarke Recreation Centre is through a long corridor with glass walls and an orange silhouette at the lower portion, overlooking the Stadium. Entrance to the gym through a double door with grey metal handles requires a swipe card entry. The ceiling has a unique ladder-looking design.
A “Please keep doors closed” orange with white and blue accents sign can be seen on the right side of the glass double door of the Gymnasium. People enjoying the different training equipment can be seen through the glass doors. At a glance, the distinct orange wall inside can be first noticed.
Resistance training equipment is directly in front, and cardio equipment is positioned across the floor-to-ceiling glass windows. The gym is a modest space with modern equipment, low ceilings, and bright lighting with grey rubber flooring. The natural environment surrounding the venue can be seen through the glass windows.

Along the external pathway leading to the Tennis Courts is a dense garden, which you can meander through to the playground. There is also a staircase with metal handrails to support people with mobility disabilities.
Access to the Tennis courts at Michael Clarke Recreation Centre is via an external pathway. Navigating away from the reception to the right is a sequence of steps and ramps to move down the hill beside the facility. Some noticeable parts of this external path are a lamp post and tree with a white L-shape cemented section.
Further down the stair, on the right, is a diverging concrete pathway in between the garden. The garden is full of plants from the succulent family mixed with bushes. There are also lamp posts in this area.

Tactile tiles with a slight elevation of brown concrete blocks on each side of the ramp. Several lamp posts, large trees with dense foliage, and benches can be seen throughout the area. A black tall fence surrounds the perimeter.

Cars are parked in the extra parking space available at the bottom of the hill and next to the tennis courts. There is also free step access from the parking space that protects the guests from direct sunlight. White road markings with different heights are painted to alert drivers of a vertical curve ahead.

On the left side of the reception desk is the brand icon of Cérge with a QR code for customers with disability. Right next to the reception area is a Café. Different coffee flavors are offered, which guests can choose on the chalkboard menu in front of the desk.
